Haslinger Shaving Soap, Sage, 60g

A narrow but thick puck that will fit into any mug, amazing lather, and the scent is very subtle and fades quickly after use. Very slick lather - after one full pass I'm still totally slick enough for extensive touch-up, no need to lather again (although, the brush still has a *ton* of lather in it, easily enough for three passes). Haslinger soap is not very picky about the amount of water on your brush, a little water or a lot of water will yield a perfectly fine lather. If it's relevant, I face-lather with a synthetic brush, 1907 Gilette Single Ring Old Type double edge razor, various brands of blades. I also like the sheepsmilk from Haslinger, which gives a bit thicker/heavier lather and leaves behind more lotion-like feeling than this sage soap does. This sage is better than the sheepsmilk if you don't want or need the extra moisturizing, the sheepsmilk is better if your skin is dried out.

Master soap makers, but we know that. Montrous lather. Not as rich as Prorasa, but a beautiful shaving soap. I use feather blades in a Merkur razor and slop this stuff on like a pig. When finished, I've been using a solid coconut product for lubrication: it works really well. Not highly perfumed, so you will still be a man when you finish shaving.

I have really sensitive skin. I thought I'd try some shaving soap since I have shaved with regular soap before. This does have a kind-of "manly" smell to it, if you will, but I don't care. It works really well and is definitely non-irritating. I've used it to wash my face as well (an extremely sensitive part of my body), and it doesn't irritate it either.

Very little scent, so it won't interfere with your choice of aftershave.Lathers beautifully, good slickness and protection. A little disappointed in the small puck size! But totally impressed with performance.

Haslinger Rasierseifen habe ich schon einige ausprobiert, die mit Schafsmilch, mit Meeresalgen oder Ringelblume. Eine neue Seife auszuprobieren erfordert immer ein wenig Geduld. Die Seifenstücke reichen eine ganze Weile. Der Schaum ist nach dem Einschäumen sehr stabil, angenehm auf der Haut und bereitet die Haare gut auf die Rasur vor, macht sie weich. Salbei hat heilende Wirkung. Mit dem Verwenden der Seife für einige Zeit war die heilende Wirkung gerade bei der strapazierten Haut im vergangenen Winter deutlich spürbar. Neben den bereits probierten Seifenstücken verdient auch diese eine Empfehlung, viel Pflege zu einem vernünftigen Preis.
