Good product, but didnt do much for me.

I’ve been taking Research Labs 2-Fer-1-Ad 1500mg for a little while now, and I’m really happy with it. The capsules are easy to take, the ingredients are clean, and I love that it gives the full 1500mg dose per day. First off let me say I haven't tried these yet however the fine powdered berberine HCL that is clearly visible in the capsule looks to be of high quality, much finer grind then what I have taken in the past so we'll see on efficacy. I've been taking berberine for a long time as a diabetic and it is very helpful for stabilizing my blood sugar. I just received my order today in the mail and although the price was incredibly good as I understand this is a new product for this company I have a couple issues with the product I received in regards to package labeling and the fill level of the capsules. I have included pictures so that you can see what I'm talking about for both issues. The first issue is the labeling on the back of the package which is misleading / incorrect regarding dose size and number of doses in a package. Package states there are 90 capsules equaling 90 servings. Serving size says there is 1,500 mg of berberine HCL in a serving. This would mean that each capsule would have to weigh 1500 mg in order for that to be true... That is not true. I find this to be a very common and sometimes likely intentional blurring of the lines/intentional misleading with at least some of the products available here on Amazon. I'm going to assume that somebody just screwed up when they designed the label with this product and it's not intentional. If they intend for someone to take one capsule three times a day that would be 90 servings but then the serving size should be 500 mg, not 1,500 mg. Someone needs to correct this. The second issue I have is the fill level of each capsule. They are using a size 0 capsule which an empty one weighs 100 mg. I weighed about 10 different filled capsules out of my bottle and they all ranged between 536mg-543mg which is a very acceptable variation. However the issue in my opinion is that once you subtract the 100 mg weight of the empty capsule the actual range for what's contained in the capsule is approximately 435 mg - 445 mg. These capsules have empty space still in them which tells me they were not packed in there very tightly. Typical berberine HCL dosing is generally 500 mg - 1200 mg. With the nano grind these may actually be more effective than a higher dose of less finely ground berberine however I have not had a chance to actually try them out yet. Since this is a new product and it's being offered at a great price I still think it's probably a good deal. I would have bought more than one at this price even with the noted issues I have. However I think it's important that the company take the feedback to heart and make corrections so that proper dosing and labeling according to what's in each capsule and in the package is corrected so there's no confusion and people are getting what they are told they're getting.

I bought the supplement a couple of months ago because of all the great reviews I read. I was skeptical at first, but it blew my mind. I have been struggling with high cholesterol levels and I found that this supplement has been helping me reduce cravings and surprisingly has helped me with menstrual cramps. I recommend this product 100%.
