Broke immediately
After fitting the door worked a few times but the then there was a bang. On taking the dishwasher to bits again the nylon rope had come away from the plastic fitting at the end. Very poor quality and a complete waste of time.

Worked but had to shorten it
I have a Beko dishwasher with a model number listed in the description. I had to shorten the cord on this in order to use it and have likely weakened it and shortened it's life-span in the process. Given it's cheap I wasn't overly worried. I suggest you compare the length listed in the description of this product against the length of the chord you're replacing - as opposed to relying solely on the fact the model of the dishwasher supported is in the description.

After fixing, with the first swing of the door, the string came off from the hook
