Great tool, exceptional customer service
This tool is indispensable if you are going to install trex decking with screws. I had a couple of minor frustrations with it after using the tool for about ten hours. Contacted Starborn customer service with my concerns. Without a doubt, the best customer service, I have ever dealt with.

You have to really watch it
The driver doesn't set all screws to the proper depth. Which means the Trex plugs aren't set flush then you have a hell of a time getting the plug out. I had to take a razor blade and cut the excess plug off then using a 1/4 bit drill the plug out then hand cut a new plug to the proper depth and glue it in. I did finally get to a point where I could tell when a screw wasn't set deep enough and would use just a bit in another drill to set it deeper. All this was a big pain in the ass, and I wasted a lot of plugs.

Awesome
Bought these for my new deck. Ordered the wrong color but seller quickly resolved this. Started install yesterday and these plugs are awesome. They match perfectly and I could not be happier. Make sure you place them correctly as they don’t come back out easy. Will order again for next deck.

Starborn has it figured out
Other manufacturers with hidden deck screw/plug systems do not account for decking which is scalloped and often do not work, causing much headache. I have learned that the hard way.Starborn provides a system with this product that works easily and great every time.If you have scalloped decking do not buy anything else!Additional hint: If you do have a screw that strips out and won't go in, here is how you fix it. Remove the screw (not always easy, admittedly), then drill out the hole with a sharp 17/64 inch drill bit. The resulting hole will accept a plug perfectly.

Bits breaking
These bits are very cheaply made. Never had any issues with my Dewalt bits stripping or shearing off but somehow this things are made of glass. 3rd one I've gone through making one deck. Hate how it's slightly longer than my Dewalt bits otherwise I'd absolutely use those. I love the thought of these hidden fastener system but the execution is terrible.
