Yu-Gi-Oh!Speed Duel GX: Duel Academy Box!, SGX1

Just got back into yu-gi-oh and this set was an awesome way to dip my toes back in. I was a little unsure on the premise of speed duel cards and if they would be worth my time but if you dont have any desire to compete in anything official these cards are just as good as any others. I combined a couple of the decks together for larger decks of 40 and they had a suprising amount of synergy. If youre a fan of the GX tv show this is a huge blast of nostalgia and a great way to start some of the best decks in the show for use with friends.

This is a great set especially if you're trying to get back into the TCG but understand it's a (Speed duel) set so the decks are smaller. I see too many people complaining about the small decks. Understandableit they probably didn't know what speed duel was. You can also use these cards in normal duels so id recommend getting a second box if you want to build a decent 40 card deck. Also the promos are beautiful definitely gonna get a second box!!

I gave this to my brother for his birthday present, and he loved it! He's just getting started with the game, so it's a really good and cheap way to get him into the game before diving deep with booster boxes.

Great condition and fast shipping

Quality is obviously sealed. I got this on sale for 11$ so it was worth the money. I’m confused on the amount of the cards. It does say “8 ready to play decks”. Without counting, I don’t see how these are “ready to play”. This assumes out-of-the-box use, when it looks like you would need to construct them yourself. Am I tripping and Is this a normal amount of cards to receive in one of these boxes or was a duped?

I got them for my son for Christmas. He loved them!! We played a couple of games. He is ready to battle his friends now.
