I was a special education teacher 5/6th grade. These sand timers were perfect for transitions with my students. I used them more for independent work or when working with students one-on-one. Students preferred the sand timers as a visual cue. It helped to maximize learning or on-task behavior. This can also be used to help anxious students to compose themselves. The sand is soothing and can help redirect behavior/emotions.

Got these because my autistic granddaughter knows about time out, but doesn't really understand what "one minute" or "five minutes" really means. Like when it should end.These make a big difference for her and also help change the cycle of anger as it is something else to pay attention toHelpful in many other ways (cooking, etc) but thought this might be a helpful review to parents of autistic kids

Liked: the colours, the size, the assorted sizes, the fun they brought to all kinds of thingsSo-So: obviously not perfectly accurate but definitely close enough.The two longer times had a bit of trouble getting going but eventually they did work.All in all a good buy I think- they’re at our daughter’s house for use with her young children so unless I hear anything negative I assume all’s good!!!

This was something my husband wanted to get and I thought it was kind of ridiculous but he wanted to use it to time the kids etc I ended up using it and the kids actually respond to it well they like to flip them over and the feel the sense of I need to get this done before the sand runs out so not bad good colors grip bottoms over all not a bad product.

These are cute, accurate, and durable. They are glass, but the rubber tops come out far enough to protect the glass from hitting the ground if they happen to get knocked over.My three year old lined them all up and watched them for most the night when they came in. Then, when I took them to my classroom- my high school students did the same lol.

I think most parents of young ones can relate with how hard it is to keep everyone on schedule. This product has made getting kids 'on time' SO much easier. It's fun for them too and, plus -- as parents, the kids can't blame us for when the time's up!Highly recommend. Well worth the money, and honestly -- well made materials etc.5 stars

Perfect for what I needed. I needed these for my grand children who struggle with understanding a clock. I tell them to get their room picked up by a certain time and then I go in and it’s half done if that. Now I can set one of these sand timers up for usually 15 minutes and they can tell how long they got. Works fantastic for me. Thank you.

I love the color, I love the size, and I love that they don't tip over, but sometimes they stop working. When I top on them they start working again, but I am not looking at them all the time so I have no idea
