BondtechLGX Lite Extruder

I put one of these on my voron v0.1 to replace the afterburner's extruder. The difference in surface finish on my prints was almost immediately noticeable and I plan on putting one on another small voron-based printer I'm building. Note that the listing is for the extruder only, you need to supply your own stepper motor. The LDO 36STH20-1004AHG motor is what I chose to put on and it's a great combination.

My setup is a custom 400x400x500 Voron 2.4R where I was having constant problems with the clockwork 2 extruder I was using. I tried all manor of work arounds to fix it, but nothing worked for more than a day or so. This extruder is small enough to still utilize the clockwork 2 shell in order to maintain the stealthburner and Tap setup I have, but well built enough to not have any issues with moving the filament.Came with everything really needed for it and while it can't be completely tuned for the amount of grip it has, it does have 3 settings while using the lever. Far left setting is open, so you can change filament. Middle is firm grip, for almost all filament you might use; ABS, PlA, PETG, etc. Right setting is for flexibles. Haven't tested the flexible setting yet, but have had nothing but good results from the middle setting so far.

Is lightweight and strong

Springs flung out of original bowden extruder on my backup printer (flsun q5). Bondtech was supposed to be great, so got this to replace it because I could do a drop in replacement. Wasted my money.After doing esteps worked great for smaller prints, but had a tendency to start slipping.Tore down and cleaned everything, played with retraction, but always eventually started slipping. Gave 2 stars because when it wasn’t slipping it was great.Eventually got fed up and replaced it with an orbiter (half the price) and never slipped again. My main printers DD orbiter also hasn’t slipped on anything (TPU, Nylon, PCCF).Very disappointed, wont be buying bondtech again. Orbiter for the win

This bad boy gave my printer some of the most consistent extrusions I have ever seen! I will be buying more.

Great little extruded. Pushes plastic fast.
