Perfect Boom Arm
This is a great boom arm. I bought a cheaper one first and it was not very sturdy. This one is heavy and sturdy. I use it for my podcast and could not be happier!

Absolutely Great device !
Great device, sturdy, well built, easy to install on many surfaces. Great for travel because it takes up so little space. I have purchased 3 of these , one for travel and a couple for different studios. I highly recommend this product…and this brand. They just seem to put out quality products at very reasonable prices.

Sleek and sturdy
I bought this to use for my never-ending parade of Zoom/Teams calls. Since I stand and move around most of the day, I wanted an affordable, right-sized boom arm that would allow me to reposition the mic as needed.Pros:- looks and feels solid- adjusting knobs hold tightly- no long mic post on the end- heavy duty C-clamp for deskCons:- not reafily adjustable "in-flight"- ^ have to loosen and tighten at least 2 of 3 knobs for any adjustments- the post that goes into C-clamp holder is curiously short, causing some wobbling. Just enough to make me ask "Why?"- the threaded mic joint (at the end) only rotates to parallel, so some adjustments that could otherwise be made by just moving that joint require manipulating the other joints.I ended up returning this, and bought the MBA28. That's working well for me, although it's almost too big for my small working area. The MBA26 (this arm) was the perfect size. I almost kept it to use on my personal setup, which requires infrequent adjustment. Really -- I hated to box it back up.Conclusion:This is a very hefty boom arm that is perfect if you have a small working area and you won't need to adjust the placement of your mic frequently. I haven't seen anything quite like this in its price range.

Good, shorter mic arm but a little loose in the base
I needed a shorter and more compact arm that could still hold a heavy mic - and this does. The arm has enough range of motion and adjustment and stays put once tightened. The only disappointment is that the opening in the table clamp is significantly larger than the shaft at the bottom of the arm, so it fits loosely and feels sloppy - it isn't going to fall out, fall over or fail, its just a little floppy when you move the arm - making it a little noisy when you move it as well -Disappointing, as the rest of the arm is well thought out and sturdy - its not a deal breaker but it just gives it a less precise feel and would be so easy to fix.Still, for a short arm in tight spaces and heavy mics, this works well.

Excellent mic stand!
Excellent mic stand. Well built and looks great! Just wish it had two more clips for mic cables for better cable management.

Was nice while it lasted...
I loved this mic arm for the 2 months I owned it before it broke. Base is not very sturdy and one wrong pull can ruin the entire arm unless you can weld. I'd suggest splurging for the Rodes arms..

Adequate but overpriced and cheap feeling
I've been using Neewer mics for a while now as a budget option, and they come with a mic arm in the box. It's nothing to write home about, but it's perfectly reasonable for a stock stand. When I recently got my Shure SM7B, the arms from my Neewer mics proved too weak to fully support the weight of the much heavier microphone.I sought this boom arm as a replacement, but sadly it was still not strong enough to support the SM7B's weight even when tightened up, ironically performing worse than the cheaper Neewer arms. Compared to the Neewer arms, this also doesn't adjust as easily due to not having a spring-tension system. It also just feels cheap and plastic-y.Wouldn't recommend for the price, but adequate for lighter mics if you, for whatever reason, can't get a cheap Neewer stand or equivalent.I'm going to bite the bullet and shell out for a Rode PSA1 arm instead.

so frustrating to make little adjustments during a stream
so frustrating to make little adjustments during a streamyou have to screw around too much to move this thing. if it is going to be in a perm place i guess its fine. sagged quite a bit with a Blue Ember mic on the end.replaced it with a Gator Frameworks mount. Works way better. Stiff but movable.

Broke after a few months
The media could not be loaded. The product itself is nice but is hard to work with, you can’t adjust it easily. The base hold about half an inch of the arm with a rivet, the arm is so hard to move around that mine just broke apart after a few months of use the base broke on mine and I had to put it back together.
