This is my first real go at-it for microneedling so I don’t really have anything to compare this to. So there’s that. But I researched many different instruments before settling on this one.The packaging was nice, professional and sleek. The tool itself seems also professional, especially for an at-home tool.I watched several YT videos to make sure I understood the proper way to operate this thing and it was very easy. I did my first treatment last night and had the typical results. Some redness, a couple of pinpoint bleeding, nothing major. I did not use the numbing cream because I figured it would feel similar to a derma roller and it did. Albeit I was using 0.25 and 1 as my settings since it was my first time, it didn’t hurt.This morning, my face looks a little bit red but nothing major. Maybe just like a light sunburn. It feels nice tho, which is a plus.I plan to do this every 3-5 days until I get the results I’m looking for. Hoping I do because I really don’t want to go spend hundreds of dollars. ;)I’ll update in a few weeks on my progress. In a nutshell, I love the price point, it’s easy to use and even with only one treatment under my belt, I feel confident I’ll see results soon.

I recently decided to upgrade from a roller to a microneedling pen. After some research, I finally settled on the Dr. Pen Ultimate M8. I ordered it from Lifewit on Amazon and it arrived in excellent condition just a few days later. When I scratched the security code on the side of the box and entered it into the Dr. Pen verification website, it was confirmed as a genuine Dr. Pen product. A quick email activated the impressive two year warranty.The Ultima M8 pen comes with a charging cable, several cartridge needles, and a storage container. It’s a well-designed pen of quality construction and its light weight feels comfortable in the hand. The M8 holds a charge for several hours but it can also be used wired. Unlike a roller, the pen offers a variety of speed and depth of needle penetration options, enabling the customization of treatment according to the area and issue being addressed. The disposable cartridge needles are of a fine gauge and super sharp, and there are several variations available.So far, I find the M8 easy to use, effective, and vastly superior to a roller. I’ve had three sessions to date and my skin recovered quickly each time. Best of all, I’ve already noticed an improvement in my facial skin texture and appearance. It will be interesting to see what further changes occur as I continue to use the pen. I highly recommend the Dr. Pen Ultima M8 it to anyone considering a microneedling device.

I love this Dr pen. It’s made of metal and is of high quality build. Feels good in the hand. So far I’ve used this pen 3 times and it’s worked flawlessly every time. Each time I’ve used the pen for about 20 to 30 minutes at a time and I’ve had zero issues with battery lasting. Pen comes with a nice protective case, along with three 36 pin and three 16 pin cartridges. The cartridges attach to the pen easily and the needles are sharp. (As a side note, if you are new to microneedling use the 36 pin cartridges first because they’ll penetrate your skin not as deeply due the increased surface tension that the 36 pins have against your skin in comparison the 16 pins. Thus the greater number of needles equals 🟰 more likely to bounce off the skin.) Another important factor is that this pen is authentic and comes with a verifiable QR code on the box that can be verified on the official dr pen website. This is important because when I was doing research on these pens I read that some of the other sellers sold counterfeit Dr pens. So it’s nice to know that this seller is legit and that you’re getting the real deal with them. The pen also comes with a two year warranty. Which I love to see that this seller stands behind their product. Overall, I’m super grateful for the folks over at Lifewit for selling a genuine product at a reasonable price that they stand behind with a warranty. Thank you.

I am a licensed cosmetologist who extensively researched microneedling pens before making a purchase, I'm thrilled with the Dr.Pen M8. My first experience was remarkably painless—I used a 36-needle tip after applying numbing cream for 30 minutes and felt virtually no discomfort.I wanted to do a deep treatment and felt I was quite aggressive doing multiple passes. After treatment on face, scalp, neck and chest I felt and looked as if I had a bad sunburn. I thought I would have several days of downtime. However, my skin was fine the next morning. Minimal peeling for 2-3 days. I made sure to keep my skin moisturized.I will note that all treatment surfaces were sterilized. I started with a clean face, wiped with alcohol and applied vitamin c and hyaluronic acid before Microneedling. The results were impressive! The device is easy to handle and maneuver, making the microneedling process straightforward. I noticed visible improvements in my skin's texture, pore size and tone after just a few sessions.What truly stood out was its efficiency and the minimal recovery time needed. Additionally, the weight and quality of the product are undoubtedly high-end. It's a fantastic addition to my skincare routine, and I highly recommend it for anyone considering at-home microneedling treatments.

Yesterday was my first go at microneedling my face on my own. I'm happy to report that it went pretty seamlessly! The pen worked perfectly. I watched some YT videos before attempting and went with the 24pin set from .1 to .5, depending on the area of my face I was working on. I used HA during and after. I plan on doing this once a month. If you're on the fence about this pen, buy it! Totally worth it and easy to use after a little YT education!
