Perfect for people sensitive to lights
If you have autism / adhd or are sensitive to lights.. GET THESE LIGHTS. They are the perfect brightness/ temperature and they don’t flicker/ make weird noises or hurt your brain like LED bulbs can. These bulbs are incandescent and are very easy on the eyes. I rarely write reviews but after buying literally 9 different kinds of lightbulbs, I finally found these ones and they are the best hands down. I’m so glad they brought incandescent bulbs back. 😎These are your classic old school light bulbs, definitely on the warm side compared to LEDs but not too much. In my opinion they’re perfect.

real light bulbs for real people
no plastic, no mercury, just sweet warm incandescent light. yeah they may use a little more energy, but there’s no hazardous waste like mercury or forever plastics that LEDs and those twisty bulbs use. these work like a light bulb should, have a soft white look, and are the right size for my dining room chandelier, which is all the value for the money i need.

Nice warm glow
Worked for what I was using it for. I use it to keep my baby chicks warm. I put it in a terracotta pot with a tile on top. That way the chicks can cuddle it like a mama hen. And they can go to sleep in the night with no light over them. When you do this they actually go to sleep and get quiet at night. Especially important for me when they live in my house, and close to my bedroom at night. I also use it as a light over the top during the daytime, and it's on a timer to shut off at night. I cover and uncover the brooder with a towel to adjust the temperature as needed. I've recently bought a brooder plate, and I like that a lot. But I've used this pot method for about 15 years and it works great! One difference I've noticed about the terracotta pot vs the brooder plate is that I can see the chicks better with the pot. So I can watch for poo butt, sick or odd looking chicks, or anyone who needs help. And I can just see and enjoy my babies more when I can see them. These were nice bulbs for the price. They are incandescent which personally I favor over LEDs, which I needed the heat in my case anyway. Also, they have a nice warm glow. They are also white, so you can't see through them and they don't pierce your eyes. I'm now using one over our new rat cage. So far none have burned out. I like them!

Hard to find incandescent light bulbs these day, nice warm tone, but very dim.
My aunt like to have her bedside lamp on so I decided to get her some new bulbs because the LED ones she has are stark white and bright, which are good for lighting up a room, but not good for moody warmth. 2700K is what you want, it's almost an orange yellow glow, but at 25 watts of incandescent lighting it's pretty low. So I tried some warm LEDs at 2700K spectrum and they also ver nice warm orangish color, not white but with the LED equivalent of 60 watts they are much brighter as well, so going to go with the brighter LED lights. These are good if you need dimmable, but they are already pretty dim at 25 watts.

Nice bulbs that Amazon folks broke
Really, Amazon? You're delivering GLASS when you deliver light bulbs, in case you're not aware that light bulbs are FRAGILE. No markings on the box to indicate fragile items. These arrived with a broken bulb that had shards of glass so small that they penetrated every square inch of the rest of the boxes of bulbs inside the bigger box. What a mess I had to go through to salvage the rest of the bulbs without cutting myself. As for the bulbs themselves, they appear to work fine and give off nice, warm, incandescent light. It's a shame the Amazon people broke one. Expect broken light bulbs if ordering through Amazon, as this was one of 2 light bulb orders that arrived broken for me. Not worth the hassle of returning because I need these bulbs, and the same thing will likely happen again.

Just what I wanted
Was searching for a soft, incandescent bulb for bedside lamps for my room and children’s rooms and these are perfect. LEDs are never dim enough and disrupt circadian rhythms, so they say. I’m very happy with these 90’s style bulbs and am ordering more to replace more bulbs around my house. They’d be perfect for any lamps you use in the evening and want a soft diffused light to unwind.

Dim and Short-Lived
Very dim as compared to an adjacent Philips 25W bulb. It's only 160 lumens. Lasted 70 days.
