Perfect replacement for my GE Microwave!! Saved me $$$
This was a perfect replacement for the magnetron in my GE JB655EK6ES microwave! With my garbage multi-meter, the old one seemed to test OK - but so did the relays (swapped the fan and magnetron leads), diode (test with a 9v battery as there's a forward voltage requirement), transformer (Ohms and continuity vary by transformer), and sensors (some are NO some are NC). We needed the microwave fixed or replaced by Thanksgiving. This part arrived in time and was exactly what we needed!

What you receive is not what is pictured!
The picture in the ad shows this magnetron with 2 mounting holes per mounting "leg" but in reality there is only 1. Magnetrons for consumer microwave ovens are virtually identical electrically but vary in how they mount. With the mounts being different than what is shown makes this unusable in my application, short of drilling and tapping new holes to mount it. If your application only needs the outer holes in the mounts then this will probably work but be aware that what is pictured may not be what is sent!

Excellent product
The magnetron is made in Japan and works exceptionally well. There are only 4 not 8 holes in the top plate so I had to drill the mounting holes i needed but the magnetron itself is excellent.

Mounting inner holes missing
For Sharp Drawer Microwave. Model SMD3070ASY. Mounting inner holes shown on Amazon were missing. Considering a return if I am unable to retrofit…

Been working perfectly over a month so far
This magnetron worked perfectly for a Viking built In microwave … only issue I had the mounting screw holes on this one were larger so I couldn’t use the original screws , went to Home Depot and got larger screws …so far it’s working great for a family of seven. Highly recommended

UPDATED: Failed after a year and 2nd replacement wasn't the same
Update: The magnetron failed after a year. I bought a 2nd one, and this time, the inner mounting holes were not present like they were in the image.Original review:This magnetron (made by Toshiba) fit perfectly in my Sharp microwave, and now my microwave is heating up food again. It was a pretty easy fix - maybe 25 minutes total with an impact driver and a pair of needles nose pliers.

Did not work...
Bought the item - thinking to fix a GE over the counter oven. It did not work at all - gave up and bought a new oven.Giving 1 star because of a) this app and b) as the packaging was very secured and nicely done
