Murdaghar by Sabir Khan is a horror genre fiction which will give you goosebumps at every two pages and just keeps it interesting for you.I generally do not read horror but I picked this one up because of it's cover, which was expressive and not at all subtle.The plot is complex, told through one point of view after another and at times it gets a bit mixed up, so you have to put in a bit of effort to stay focused.Will recommend it to the horror genre lovers.

I have to give credits to the person who wrote the blurb of the story. Because if the blurb wasn't as good as it is, I would not have picked it up.The story was a bit slow for me, but the expectation and the excitement to understand the mystery that the blurb is the thing that kept me going.And ultimately I realised that the plot is pretty great. And it is just so so well written that you'll enjoy it thoroughly if you love this genre.

Murdaghar by Sabir Khan is a horror fiction.The plot is nice, but as this was my first time reading a Hindi horror novel, it took me some time to get used to it.Sabir Khan's writing is very much different from the classics that one reads as a kid, and that really helped in reading this.The plot is painted in a very picturesque manner with an easy to read writing and it all just flows.Loved this.

I have read a lot of horror stories and even watched most of the movies of this genre. So i know where all to expect jump scares and it gets very easy to guess what's going to happen once you get the hang of it.But Sabir Khan's Murdaghar started off in a way that I was intrigued. I mean yeah the obvious answer was the ghost murdered the victim but then it just felt like that's a very simple explanation.And that's exactly what makes this book interesting. The obvious things are still done in a way which you do not expect it to be done in.Will recommend it to those who are looking for a fresh take on this genre.
