These are great little cameras. I have purchased 3 different models over the past 4 years and they all still work great. Easy to set up and install even for a tech idiot like myself. The picture is clear and sharp even at night and enabled me to catch the opossum hiding in my garage.I accidentally destroyed the QR code and model number on the bottom of the oldest one but Vimtag emailed me the model number so I could reconnect to my new internet service.

I have this mini camera since last year, bought a couple of it. So far, works perfectly, resolutions are good, microphone are clear and loud.I am in the US, some camera i bought was installed in the Philippines and I could easily randomly speak in the two way speaker, images are clear, i could easily control the functions in the app too. One thing I like about it is the easy way to solve some minor issues by just tapping a button in the app to speak with support staff, they promptly respond with my message. If there’s a need for another mini camera, i will surely buy the same brand.

I am 75 and I have purchased Vimtag security cameras for over 10 years. A 10 year old internal camera recently quit working after working for years OUTSIDE ! There are many cameras to choose from and some may be equal or better than Vimtag. Most of these cameras are offshore as is their product support. I will continue to buy Vimtag products because they offer good value, durable products and really great customer service.It has sometimes been years between emails to Vimtag (because products are reliable) but they have consistently and promptly responded to my emails......... and always resolved the situation. My latest issue (not Vimtag issue) was due to having to change ISP and reconfiguring old cameras to new WiFi. I could not read an old QR code on one camera and Vimtag offered to replace this camera. I did not ask for this but what great service !!! I will continue to recommend to friends and family.

Update June 2023:I had the camera running for a while, and it works beautifully. But, yesterday I wanted to preserve a video saved on the SD card. Please be careful if you want to save your video to a later use and/or storage, as it is not so easy and intuitive. I have a dash cam where I remove the SD card, and either swap with a new card, or download what I need and reinsert.But not this on this VIMTAG camera ... The camera formats the SD card once you insert it. Also, once you remove the SD card, the partition is corrupted and cannot be read. So, if you want the video on the SD to be preserved, you need to download while the SD card is still in the camera on the device you have the VIMTAG app - in my case my phone - then transfer that download to a safe site.It seems that there is not enough quality testing done on this device. Bummer, because it's such a great little device otherwise.<><><>Purchased this for $19.99 and ended up purchasing 3 total. The camera has a very good image, great motion detection, and can see in the dark through the window!!! I installed it inside the front window and it can capture cars and people going by at 25+ feet away. I am also happy that I can capture the neighbor's numerous cats prancing by at night. The motion sensor picks them up and the motion light activates. I took away one star because I put a question - two actually - to the vendor how to use a power bank - battery or solar rechargeable - and received the same response that it is for power plug only. However, one user did mention that he was walking around using a power bank, but no other details. I want to capture the house - hence 3 purchases - during a hurricane - which lasts about 5 hours in total - to see if my neighbor's stuff breaks my windows ... So, if anyone has any ideas, please upload your set-up. By the way, in the testing mode that I have now, 24 hours continuous recording lasts more than 1 week for a 64 GB drive and more for the 128 GB one.

Just register, open the app and scan the QR code on the camera enter your wifi credentials and thats all. Video image is impressive. Everything you need is included. I would definitely would buy additional so far I have 3 vimtag cameras and they work great ! 😃
