Used this insect netting to cover my brassicas to keep them free of bugs done the same last year and had a bug free crop.

Used to keep birds from eating grass seeds let’s light and water through.It’s strong and covers a good area

This is really good mesh. Butterflies can't get past it so protects brassicas if secured properly around the plants. I used rocks to hold this down over a metal plant cage rather than the metal pegs as I didn't want to compromise the material by punching holes in it. The material is very durable and easily let's water through. It does not billow in strong winds and didn't shift, tear or degrade. Feels good quality and remains in good enough condition to be reused next season too.

Although the very fine light mesh is a guarantee that no insects will get through if intact it unfortuanately makes the net very easy to hole. I've only had it in place four days and winds have been no more than 14 mph in those days and it has already torn in four places. If I'm careful and sew up the tears it may last this year but I doubt if I'll get more than a year's use out of it.
