Get "no input" from Atomos Ninja V from Panasonic S5 UPDATE: Work around exists
Cable is beautiful, but beautifully unable to connect either. The quality of materials is what's so good that it's disappointing that it simply will not work.Other cables working fine, so returning this.UPDATE: Changed this rating to 3 stars. If you go to INPUT on the Ninja V and change HDMI type from 2.0 to "compatibility mode" the cable will then work. So it won't work when on 2.0 in HDMI settings, but appears to support all functions up to 5.9K 30P ProRes RAW when in "compatibility mode". Would provide more stars if setting could remain HDMI 2.0.

COILED IS NOT PRACTICAL.
I bought this cord under the impression that the coiled cord would easily stretch from it's smallest size to largest length, as I moved the camera around.I was very disappointed that the coil is very tight, and wants to retain its shortest length. This is a problem when attempting to connect the camera to a monitor that is not within this short length. Stretching the cord at all puts a lot of tension on the ports. And makes it very difficult to mount to a gimbal, because the cord is pulling hard on the camera attached to the gimbal. However the build quality is good, and transfers information perfectly. I just believe the coiled design is not practical for most uses.

A very well made cable, but maybe not for all applications
The use case here is to connect a mirrorless camera to an external video recording monitor, both of which are mounted on a gimbal. HDMI connector port-to-port distance is 11.5" Anyone who has balanced a camera on a gimbal knows how sensitive balance is to external forces. Thus, a cable for my application needs to be able to deliver high speed data, but be low-mass and very flexible. I started with an expensive Atomos brand coiled cable, which "almost" worked, but was too heavy and stiff for my particular set-up. Kondor Blue cables have a very good reputation for quality and price, so I ordered one thinking the fabric outer cover might indicate low mass and flexibility. However, the cable was as stiff or stiffer than the Atomos cable and I could not keep the camera in balance. I eventually found a very low mass, flexible cable and returned the Kondor cable. It's important to consider that other configurations of camera, monitor (and distance between the two), and gimbal may work very well with this cable. It's well made and relatively inexpensive. And, BTW, it's available in colors other than blue.
