ContigoAshland 2.0 24OZ Dragon Fruit

After maybe years my old contigos needed to be replaced and I bought this new design. Similar function, each to clean and perfect to take on the go. I am not a fan of stainless steal water bottles so these are a good alternative.

I love that this cup won't spill. Even if you forget to close the spout. It can be thrown in a bag without worry. Easy to clean as well. Locks closed for added protection from accidental opening. Would recommend without hesitation.

I have several and bought another just to have around. I carry one with me everywhere.

My little girl loves the cup and especially the color, but we are not fans of the new spout/straw design. After the first washing, with all parts assembled and a full cup of water, when we sip we get mostly bubbles and very little water. I can’t figure it out, but I put an older style lid and straw on which was thankfully compatible. We bought 3 of this nee Ashland style at once and so far this is the only one with this problem. Will update if I ever figure the problem out or if it recurs with the other cups, too. Otherwise performance as expected, minimal leaking as long as closed although it does shoot water out the straw sometimes when opening.

This is great. I love that the straw part clicks closed into the little cover, and the release button has a lock. The downside is that sometimes liquid that is in the straw gets immediately forced out of the straw as soon as you open it. It is difficult to predict when this will happen, but it’s always too much liquid to just ignore and can result in an emergency water bottle fellating motion in front of an entire church congregation if you are, say, a vocalist in a choir.

I liked this water bottle until I dropped it on carpet and now it leaks. No way to fix the lid. Don’t waste your money.
