No nails needed!
These work well, especially for a rented dwelling since you can change your window covering type without making nail holes in wood.

Only need a hammer
The brackets fit as described. Just a few taps with a hammer to get the points behind the trim. Worked so much easier & cleaner than drilling holes in newly patched & painted walls. Curtain rods clicked into place & curtains were up in no time.NOTE: the brackets did "bite" into the trim face a little -- the trim is a little thicker than some. But, brackets cover the marks.Am happy to have discovered these "gadgets" -- I'll buy more in the future, if needed.

Complete waste of time and money
Brackets spin freely on this, making hanging curtains impossible. No support Tried tapping with hammer to secure with prongs on hanger unsuccessfully

Not so great
Idea is great, but you still have to use screws (not included) and the center spins so the curtain rod doesn't stay straight

They work as intended
I think alot of the negative reviews are from those that have multiple layers of wall and/or window trim paint that is ‘bridging the gap’ between the trim and the wall. These hangers have protrusions or spikes that need to fit in that gap. It was easy enough to take a sharp razor blade and cut the paint away and these fit great and work as you would expect. My only complaint is that the part that the curtain rod hangs on swivels, or at least mine do. Just wish the rivets were tighter but once the curtains are hung there is not an issue.

Tap on and hang you curtains.
These are perfect no nails or screwdriver required. Just a hammer to tap it in lightly behind the molding.

Won't work if molding is painted to the wall.
They go behind the molding, and if the molding has been painted it may not still have the gap needed. That was the case for me, more trouble than worth.

Perfect!
At first I was a little skeptical about purchasing the "Instant Holders - Curtain Rod Brackets" but as it turns out they were great and looks nice, no holes in my woodwork or in my walls - I have a room with seven windowes and it was a perfict solution for me, east to install, no drilling or hammering nails. Will definitely purchas again as I have lots of windows in my new house,
