Very well built and durable. Won't corrode and safe for drinking water. I live in a place where we can get fresh clean water from a spring underground. The water tests 100% pure right out of the rock. This is what we use to collect and store the water in. It's the drinking cooking water for us and our animals. Only thing city water here is good for is hygiene( and waste), dishes laundry. This seems to be a blow mold like plastic which is also a food grade quality. It holds 5 gallons of water (in our case) . We've had no issues with leaking even if it fell on it's side while closed. For those familiar with the military "jerry" cans this is the same basic size and dimensions of those. I'm very impressed with this and want to purchase more.

Best portable H2O storage container. Tough and durable. I bought mine after seeing them survive a Boy Scout troop for years. If they can survive that, they can survive anything. Just a little pricy, I guess it's one of those buy once, cry once deals for these.

I bought two of these as an investment to put into my travel van for carrying extra clean water. They are both of exceptional quality and very easy to store. I imagine these will last forever if I keep them clean

These are the gold standard for water jugs and are used by the military. I have been happy with mine. I use them on camping trips and also at home for reverse osmosis water that I produce. I also purchased the spigot for these. At home I recommend transferring to smaller 1 gallon jugs to make things more manageable. I was concerned about potentially having a plastic taste at first but this has not been an issue. I just wash the jugs out with water a couple of times before the first use. One tip I can offer is to remove the cap over the small hole for pouring otherwise it will be right in the stream of water which you will find to be very annoying. Open the vent for the most efficient pouring. To pour you need to grab the handle as well as the bottom of the jug. You can also rest the jug on a picnic table or something like that and pour. I bought these because I needed something very durable and reliable for long camping trips and these have fit the bill. Sometimes a couple of these jugs are all of our drinking water for a few days so I could not take any chances on an inferior product.

As others noted, mine also came with a slight chemical smell that went away after I swished a gallon of tap water around in it for a few minutes. There were some slight quality control issues with the camp. on the underside of the big main cap, there were jagged plastic remnants. These were likely at some point molten plastic that seeped out from gaps in the mold during formation that stayed attached after the cap cooled. I would have sanded them down if I had sandpaper, but I instead used other sharp tools and my fingers to pick away the bits that probably should have been cut off the cap while it was at the factory. This proved to be a little tricky as the plastic is very strong and my work wasn't perfect. I don't think what's left will easily detach from the cap and land in the water inside the container, but the visual would be more reassuring if the remnants weren't there at all. I'm deducting one star because for a water container that costs this much, I was expecting flawless quality control. All that said, it still appears to be a great product and I'm looking forward to bringing it out on some desert adventures. It pours okay, looks great, and I have no doubts about its durability. I bought this because buying those cheap ones that seem more likely to break or get moldy feels worse than buying an expensive one that will last. I feel happy about giving it four stars and would give it 4.4 stars if I could.

I got this because I was tired of the cheap ones that leak and crack. This is so well made I can run over it with my truck and not phase it. Great product great price and awesome travelability as well as functionality. It works well as described.

Purchased these right before the onslaught of hurricanes we received in Florida in 2024 and they worked great. They are large and hold a lot of water but don't take up too much room being as tall and slender as they are. We have a water purifier so we used that to fill these up before the storms came. The spout is easy to operate and comes off and back on easily. They are not easy to wash, but to be fair nothing of this caliber would be easy to wash. For how much water it holds, its not as heavy as you would anticipate for how well made it feels.

Good quality. I was very disappointed to see that the price on these increased within 48 hours of my order. I had planned on buying more if this one was genuine.

I got it for extended camping/hunting trips. I know it’s only a water can, but it’s one of my favourite pieces of gear. It’s extremely rugged, and i like to know I can bump it around a bit without worrying about it breaking and then losing precious water when we’re out in remote areas. It took a while for the plastic aroma to wear off, but not a big deal. I wish it were cheaper, but still worth the money.

Canadian made !!! A tank of canister !!! Well built sturdy and very nice color. The price is on the high side but worthed.
