For Coiled zippers only
Nowhere in the description did it say whether the sliders were for coil or toothed zippers. I took a chance and they are for the coiled zippers. I needed toothed. Oh, well. I'll probably find a use for them eventually. The seller need to say for Toothed zippers in the description.

Excellent replacement for broken zipper.
Needed to replace a broken zipper and these worked out nicely.

May be too small for your outdoor jacket - A numeral 5 on your zipper is not guarantee these will fit.
Even though my broken YKK zipper had a numeral 5 on it, these claps were too small.Close enough to try to install, but obviously too small upon close examination.

Total waste for me
I don't know what went wrong but this did not work for me. Although the zipper on the bag indicated it was a #5 when this one came it could not fit. Besides they arrived with no instructions which made it difficult. Total waste for me.
