Origami Flowers: Popular Blossoms and Creative Bouquets

I remember folding origami in grade school and have missed the spectacular feeling of seeing the results of my countless folds. This book brought me back to those reminiscing times in a way that made it not too difficult. I like the easy to follow instructions; coupled with visuals in case you get lost. The flower bouquets that this book depicts are exquisite and would be a great gift to anyone due to the effort put in.I highly recommend getting this book as a way to challenge your critical thinking and/or making someone smile.

Very advanced. Some require paper I haven't worked with yet and others require other materials like wire and tape for assemble. Glue and scissors are also required. Lots of beautiful designs once you do finally get the hang of it.

I am a long-time origami fan, though my skills are only intermediate. I had no problem with any of the diagrams in this book, but I would guess that it might be a bit intimidating to a beginner. The absolute beginner who is not familiar with origami diagrams might want to start with a "easy origami" book first which shows the standard fold symbols with step by step instructions. Still, the standard folding symbols are not hard to learn, and there are no complex folds in this book, so a beginner could probably figure it out from this book with some patience. It could use a bit more detail on assembling the flowers. There are lots of good closeup pictures of the finished flowers, and you can figure it out from those, but a walk through on the first flower of how it is done would have been nice.The flowers are very detailed and nice looking when completed, and they are diagrammed clearly. I found no errors in the diagrams.

This is an amazing book!. I had never tried to make anything 'Origami' my entire life. Beautiful glossy pictures with clear instructions for each flower, folding & arranging. I practiced using this book with plain printer paper; since then I have ordered Origami paper & supplies. A very talented author!!!!

These projects are quite complicated and are not really traditional origami. Many require more than one sheet per flower, where others require cutting the original shape something other than a square. Many are quite advanced, so this book is not for the beginner, or the impatient. Beyond that, it's full of some incredible flowers to make as long as the you have the time and patience!

I bought this after I bought the beginners book on origami. The book was in perfect shape and was added to the collection of origami books I had already bought for this person. In thanks he made me a beautiful bouquet of different flowers. I will keep adding to his collection of origami books.

Absolutely required for origami's creators. This product offers an imaginative flower design, easy to perform and widely variety of them. Clearly explanations are set inside each page and you don't need to be a veteran to carry out all flowers suggested by Hiromi Hayashi.

They look beautiful in the picture but far too complicated, I didn't realise it would be like that, I should have got a beginners book first, none of my friends managed to do it and gave up also.We are in the 80s age group and I thought it would be therapeutic, instead it is very stressful.

Tres tres beau livre, des modeles d'origami jamais vu avant, hyacinthe, tulipes, fuchsia, pensée, etc.. Mon fils etait ravi et comme les explications sont en Anglais j'ai fait d'une pierre deux coups.

I have several origami flowers books but this one is by far the best. Not only does it describe how to fold the flowers, but also the buds and leaves as well. It also describes how to construct the flowers with florists wire and tape, and how to arrange them in a realistic way.I folded a bouquet of 15 various blooms for my mother when she was ill, and they have been in pride of place in a vase ever since.
