No more sticking to the sofa
The material is super soft. We're done playing "who has the most couch blanket" and wanted something that didn't look too much like grandma's sofa. Based on the measurements, our extra wide two-seat recliner sofa was at the bottom of the size range and it still fit great.Hopefully it won't shift a lot. It did come out of the package smelling of plastic, but after a delicate wash cycle and sun dry it's good to go. Not sure the fabric will hold up to cat/dog nails, slobber, and well-loved scratchy chew toys but we will see. 😀

I was shocked at how well it fit!
I was absolutely shocked at how well this fit my couch. So much so that I bought another one to go on our love seat. It stays in place remarkably well. We've had them on for 3 weeks and have only had to slide them back on the couch cushion one time so far. And our couches get a lot of use with two young kids and a dog constantly rough housing on them!My daughter keeps rubbing it and saying she loves how soft and cozy out "new couches" are !I have the long sofa with the two pop out reclining sections and I did not know how well it would work. I was so pleasantly surprised! One of those rare Amazon purchases where money was very well spent!I read a million reviews and looked at a thousand photos before making this decision and I have to honestly say, it's worth the hype;

Hard to get on but looks great on a two cushion double recliner full length sofa
We have a light tan (almost cream) leather recliner sofa that is in excellent condition and we want to keep it looking good but we have two rambunctious dogs who run through mud and like to wrestle on it. We bought it for $70 in December 2023 - the only thing wrong with it is the color, just not practical for us or fitting for the room. We got a cover just like this for another sofa (non-reclining) and it was so easy to put on and we loved it so we figured we'd give this a try for the leather recliner sofa. It's a full length sofa (not a loveseat), about 85" so we ordered the 75-100".I didn't think to take photos until he was almost half way done but at least you can see the type of recliner sofa we have - it's two wide recliners with no center non-reclining section. This was obviously important when I was shopping and it took me a while to find someone who had a sofa like ours that this cover worked well for, so I wanted to be sure to mention that and include photos.The navy color is great and the fabric is so soft and stretchy.This was very hard to put on even though we ordered one that would supposedly fit a longer sofa, and this isn't an overly stuffed sofa. Now my husband didn't realize the back of the sofa was covered in a piece of leather that was just attached with Velcro so that might have sped things up for him (I knew and assumed he had noticed, my fault). He only needed me for about three minutes but he had to really pull and work to get these pieces on and as others have said - "I wonder how long the straps will last?" - they're pulled so tight. I think it took him half and hour, but he was complaining the entire time - was not fun all of the reaching and tugging. I wouldn't have been able to do it on my own - I can't reach as far as he can.It is a complicated thing to cover, so it's understandable that it might not be a breeze to put on, but now I'm thinking we'll never wash it because chances are it may shrink even with line drying and we might not be able to get it back on properly - or want to go through the hassle (I'll give him a while to recover and forget the annoyance before I try to wash it). So now we're covering this with sheets and only pull those off when we have company or change the sheets. We'll try washing it eventually, when it needs it. It could use better labeling but we got through that bit (which piece went where and which way) easily.This covered the back fully, no problem for us there. The one end, under the arm on the bottom always pulls up because that's the side the dogs jump onto from the door - they launch onto the sofa from the doorway 8 feet away so it tugs on the fabric. But so far, after two months, the rest is staying put and we use this very hard - always reclining when we're on it - and the dogs are always on it (two vizslas).The pockets they show in the photos are handy but I think they're mostly there to cover where you pull on the handle/leaver to recline - to cover excess soiling from touching that area often and to cover any holes that might appear where your tugging on the fabric repeatedly. There are no holes for handle access, they are covered by fabric. But as I said, the pocket fabric will cover any wear well if you reach into the pocket and then pull the handle.It looks nice because it's in pieces, not one big stretch to fit piece which is why we loved the one we got for our non-recliner sofa - it had covers for each cushion so it looks natural, not like a cover. Most people didn't know it was a cover on the non-recliner sofa. It may be easier to tell on the recliner sofa because of the foot rest area but not likely - and I like the sleeker look. Plus, you don't have to wash it all at once - just wash which ever piece/s needs washing.What I love is there are so many colors and they're affordable so you can change them for the holidays or by season - or just try out a new color for that room and see how it works before you commit to a new piece of furniture in that color. Or if you have a piece of furniture you love but it clashes with other stuff, you can cover it - or cover them. Or make two mismatched pieces match, etc. They're great. And they're making them better and better right now.This is a hard room to furnish with walls we won't ever paint (beautiful hardwood walnut custom paneling) indestructible terra cotta colored tiles, and a red/terra cotta brick fireplace so getting to see what colors work on furniture (other than orange or brown) in this room is nice and we can use that information for new furniture in the future. The recliner covers are more expensive but for our regular sofa I only paid twenty something, so we could change the color every couple of months for that price - especially since the brand new sofa was free. We only get cheap/free furniture due to the dogs for now.I hope that was helpful to someone.

Good product for the value
The couch cover is better looking than I expected. The fabric is described as velet. It's similar to the microfiber fabric of the two seat recliner couch it was purchased to covet. Easy to slip onto the wide couch (78" long) with large pillow type arms. The couch has a manual recliner lever. The fabric of the cover is stretchy enough to pull the level and raise the legs.

Great new look!
Very happy with the look. We have an older recliner sofa that was in really good shape except for the upholstery. This cover really refreshed the look. Installation was a little challenging, but some of that was due to how well our old upholstery was stapled. We'll buy another one for our recliner chair.

Needs modifications.
This is the only stretch cover I could find that seemed like it would fit my new (used) loveseat. I just got my extra wide reclining loveseat from a resale shop. It’s comfortable but it doesn’t look new and it’s a weird greenish brown color (depending on lighting) that I really don’t love.I chose the navy blue cover which is fun and adds a nice pop of color to my white walled apartment. The texture is also fun and doesn’t trap my dog’s fur nearly as much as I would have expected.So now for the issues - even though it should have easily fit my loveseat, which is only 83”, the extra fluffy cushions, or perhaps the shape, meant that the straps don’t work like they’re supposed to. You’re supposed to take loops from each seat cover, pull them behind the loveseat, and attach them to each other with a connector to hold the seat covers on. Similar situation with loops on the back covers. None of those loops were long enough to connect that way. I came up with a modification that I hope will work though. As shown in my picture I took the one loop each from the two seat covers and two back covers that were supposed to go through the center of the recliner and attached them together. I looped all four to one connector to hold them together. The back covers also have ties on them to tie the fabric down to the frame and cover the back of the recliner. I took those ties from both back covers, put them through that connector (with the four straps) and then tied them to the frame so they’d hold that connector w/straps where they needed to be. I essentially repeated this with the seat and back cover loops on both ends.The modifications aren’t pretty, but my recliner is against a wall so you can’t see them. Hoping this works long term because it does put extra stress on the ties.
