I bought this book for my 5-year-old grandson, not really knowing if he would like it. While the book is still a little to hard for him to read it is amazing the knowledge he has soaked up from hearing us read these stories to him.Brightly colored pictures and the stories and facts in the books are in a format that a child enjoys.

I purchased this book for my son. This book is really interesting. I love these vibrant colors. The book is easy to get a child’s attention. It is also really cool facts throughout the book.

A must have for any curious child. Started this series for my 5 yo who has a strong interest in animals, nature, natural science, etc. we now have the oceans, bugs, and animal books and he LOVES all of them… normally a very active boy’s boy, he sits and looks at these on a routine basis. We talk about each creature, fact, etc. it typically turns into further research for both of us (videos, fact finding etc) for about each page… highly recommend these for any science minded, curious child… appropriate for prob 4-10yrs old.
