Easy to use, good value in time saved
I saw these used by Leah Day and I loved the idea. I have gotten the quilt basted with them and they were easy to use. The only downside is that they are a bit spendy, or seem so, but I expect to use them for a long time and when I think of all the time they will save and no more sore fingers from safety pins I think they are a great bargain. The seller sent a sample pack to share with a quilting friend, which I think is a good idea.

Great product.
Love these, they make quilt sandwiches so much easier to do than with safety pins. Highly recommend. This is my second purchase, I sometimes have more than one quilt going.

Pricey but good product
Although these are pricey they last forever. Once you have a lot of them you will find all sorts of uses for them. They will stay on a quilt with pins for a few years. I have small quilts that I put these in about 2 years ago and they are still there! I gave it 4 stars because I really feel they are very overpriced.

Meh
Expensive. Difficult to work with. Fingers just as tired from pushing pins into rubber as they are closing safety pins. I like old fashion basting on a frame the best. Takes the same amount of time as placing these or safety pinning, and then you can machine quilt without stopping to remove pins.

Ouch, Ouch, Ouch!!
I initially gave these a 5 Star rating. I basted my first quilt with them on the recommendation of the teacher of an online quilting video I purchased. They are very expensive but I decided to spend the money and try them. I ordered 400 of them along with the Clover flower head pins and quickly ran out. I used up all the safety pins I had and then resorted to basting with tailor tacks. I liked the Pinmoors when basting the quilt. They went in faster and were easier on my fingers to insert into the quilt than safety pins. However, I found out the hard way they are NOT so great when the actual quilting began. I tried to really put the little plug on tight but when I had to get up close and personal with my king sized quilt there was no keeping them on. They popped off and actually shot across the room when I began to navigate the quilt around the sewing surface. With such a large quilt you need to keep the bulk of it in your lap and then move it slowly through the sewing machine. I've been stuck so many times in my legs and worse still in my chest area that I think I know how a pin cushion feels. I feel very unhappy with this expensive purchase. Next time I'll get more safety pins and bast with them. They stay in place and I didn't have a single one open and stick me. The tailor tacks worked great too. Much less weight than the pins and save a lot of money as well.

Great to use when pinning quilt sandwiches
I use these with flower head quilting pins for pinning quilt top to batting and backing. So much easier than hand basting or safety pins.
