The strap is cheap plastic and it fell right off, the flipper itself is a hard plastic and I would not recommend these at all. If I could of given it No stars I would have. Strap doesn't stay fasten

The strap is held by a plastic buckle which when stressed , putting on or off or just kid use, slips off easily. We lost one after several attempts to make these work in under one hour. Now useless. Not worth the money.

These worked great for a Halloween costume. However the edges where your foot arch sits against was a little rough. Definitely not good for a long wear, but short stints would be fine.
