Ultimately very good results, but make sure you are getting what you are paying for!
Pros:- In the end, the 16mm transfer videos I got from Memorable were great quality (except for one reel which they said was too badly damaged).- Very responsive customer service (spent a lot of time with them, see below)Cons:-Their estimating tools based on reel size did not work out to be accurate/reliable for me. I purchased what I calculated as close to the correct number of "rolls"--I wouldn't have been shocked if there was a bit more owed, but it ended up being almost double. I know could have balked and got my stuff sent back, but at that point it just seemed like too much hassle.- I was dismayed when I got the videos back. They looked like they were projected on a sheet that was blowing in the wind, still objects looked wavy, etc. I contacted Memorable and they informed me, "The waviness is a result of the scanning technique and and the only other option is to have the film scanned on a sprocket-less scanner. This is a much more expensive option, we do not offer it on Amazon." The added cost would have been double (yet again). Fortunately, the description on amazon specifically identified the process as "sprocket-less scanner" so when presented with this information they agreed to rescan them at no additional charge. As mentioned before end results were great, but I certainly had to work to get the product that was advertised.- The whole process took two months, mostly because it all had to be done twice, but i also got the sense that they only worked on it after I bugged them by email. For me that wasn't an issue, but might be for others.I debated whether to give them two vs. three stars but went with three because in the end I was happy with what I got. I will say that if they change their offering and do not offer the sprocket-less scanning technique (as they indicated they might), I would definitely NOT recommend this service if you care about good quality.

Excellent conversion, great customer service, and careful handling of very old films.
2018 update:Memorable did their usual excellent job on over 5,000 feet of 16mm on 16 reels. One of the early Kodachrome reels has bad dye fade (almost 80 years old and one of the first color home movies). Memorable did a good job of color correction, to the extent it was possible.I can't imagine using anyone else for film transfers. From 2016:Most Excellent. I had five 400-foot reels transferred. Some of my 16mm films date from the 1930s and 1940s. One of them may be the world's oldest Kodachrome home movie. The film, which we verified with Kodak, predates by at least a year the release of Kodachrome 16mm. Needless to say, I was very concerned about preserving the film itself. The transfer was superb. The films were handled carefully and returned intact. Their frame-by-frame conversion faithfully preserved the colors and the high resolution makes the films sparkle on our large-screen, plasma television. There was a minor issue and they quickly resolved my order and shipping goof. I have at least ten more reels that I'll be sending to them after the first of the year.In the past, I've used some chain-store transfer services. Memorable's work was orders of magnitude better.

Perfect!
This was a great experience and extremely well done. They sent me a box for my 16mm tapes to send in for transfer to USB. I did exactly what they told me to do. They transferred everything to USB, sent me all the home videos via email and returned everything back to me on a very timely basis. I could not have asked for anything better at a great price. I would not hesitate to use them for more and I do plan on doing that. Everything they did for me, including the price, was PERFECT!!! If the highest rating was 10 starts, I would give them 10 and more. Very, very happy!!

Excellent work!
I am so grateful for your service. I thought those films were too damaged to be able to get anything out of it, but Memorable Inc. Got those images out of it and made them look great. This film was of my girlfriend's parents wedding and so many of those people filmed are gone by now, but now her parents are able to enjoy seeing their friends and older family members again. Thank you so much, I will recommend you to anyone.

Great Quality!
I had 2 large Super 8 reels converted to digital files. The quality is great and it was amazing to see these movies for the first time in over 40 years. The process was smooth and the people were great to work with.

Much better than expected
I and my entire family were amazed when we watched. The transferred film. It was much sharper, lighting improved and cleaned. I had no idea film transfer could improve the pictures like this!

Fully satisfied high quality results.
Excellent quality result from my parents old 8mm reels from the early 60's. Uploaded to Amazon drive, then downloaded to my phone, and computer for safe long term storage. Received original films back intact and boxes indicating the ID of memorable having processed them for easy tracking to which video file. Highly recommended.
