What is the difference between infrared fiber heat and carbon fiber heat in your heated gloves ?

Carbon fiber is used to strengthen the product, no to provide heat. Far infrared technology uses the body’s own infrared energy to generate heat. The technology is based on innovative fibers that contain special ceramic particles which absorb Far InfraRed (FIR) rays emitted by the body, and then reflect them back to the wearer as heat. But I'm just giving you the science. I do not know if these gloves use either of those technologies.

A size chart would definitely be helpful, they seem to run pretty big though, I'm a pretty big guy(260lbs) with big hands and I brought the x large and they are a little big on me, I probably could've just gotten the large
