I love zebra cakes, but these were off on taste. Not spoiled, just off. I'm eating them because I'm not throwing out money. Its the frosting that tastes off. Will I buy them again? Maybe.

I was disappointed with the Little Debbie Zebra Cakes I received because they tasted stale right out of the package. The box was still within the expiration date, but only by about a month, which is closer than I expected for a packaged snack product. The cakes were not as soft as Zebra Cakes normally are, and the texture made them much less enjoyable. I have purchased these many times before, so I am familiar with how they usually taste and feel. The product itself is normally good, but this particular box seemed like older stock. I would definitely recommend checking the expiration date as soon as the order arrives, especially when purchasing food products online.
