Very convenient
It works well to be able to wind a bobbin without having to unthread and rethread the sewing machine. Would not want to be without this now.

Slower than the winder on my machine, but so convenient. Needs adaptor for UK use.
Wanted to be able to bobbins mid project, or do several to have reserves. Very compact but a bit noisy in operation. Power lead has the 2 flat pin configuration(US/Japan) so adaptor needed for me in UK. Got feedback from my sewing Facebook groups and seems an even split between Singer and Simplicity but I like Singer so chose this. No regrets to date.
