Really loved the shoes, but after three weeks the heel completely fell off.

Material is soft pleather that leaves creases from in the shoe from walking. Shoes arrived with bleach like chemical stains all over them... Fit was good.

UPDATE: Not good after the first wear. I wrote the original review after wearing them once. I wore them again and the toe on one shoe has a scratch on it. It looks like the material is separating or something. They are changing color almost as well. It seems like once I wore them outside instead of inside the majority of the time they just fell apart.To late to return but these are NOT good shoes, even for the price.Initial review: They arrived in a bag so might be returned but they are cute and as pictured. They crease within the first hour of wearing them and run a little big. I’m a 7 1/2-8 I got an 8 and they are loose. Cute for every now and then.

EDITED REVIEW: The shoes feel great now, even after hours of wearing them. I guess they just needed to be "broken in" a little.The fit is good. My issue w/ it is after wearing it for a few hours, my little toes and parts of the bottom of my feet began feeling sore. When I got home after having the shoes on for about 5 hours, I was more than ready to get them off! I didn't do too much walking in them, just regular day to day activities. I wouldn't recommend these shoes to someone who wants to wear them to work. I would only wear these to a party where I'm in a smaller area and not moving around too much. Needless to say, I'm a little disappointed.

It is uncomfortable to walk in. There is not cushioning inside the shoe. Even after adding a full-shoe orthotic, the shoes were still uncomfortable. The front squeezes my toes. The bottom of the shoe has no grip. The fabric is stiff and uncomfortable, especially around the top of the shoe where it coarsely rubs against my ankles every so often. I liked the wooden heel + black fabric look, but that is not nearly enough to redeem the shoe.

I wanted some shoes to wear in the winter that could be worn with socks for warmth. My feet always freeze in just plain flats and I don’t want to wear just boots all winter. Booties seemed to be the obvious solution, but I didn’t want to pay a lot in case I didn’t like wearing them. These were a great choice and they’re actually quite comfortable. I will be purchasing more in other colors for next winter!

The shoes are not J. Adams brand. They are Soda. J. Adams is a higher quality brand so spending $35 on these booties seemed reasonable. Soda has loads of cute shoes but their quality isn't super and the price is usually pretty low. I'm disappointed that I paid so much for a cheaper brand. However, the boots are comfortable, fit as expected and are cute. They don't look super cheap, but not of good quality either -- more like $25 booties rather than the $35 I paid.

These shoes are super cute and are comfortable! I normally wear a US size 7-8 depending on the style because I have wide feet (size 8 in converse, 7 for regular sneakers) I was worried it might be too small so I decided to order a 7.5, which turned out to be too big. (My fault not seller’s) I would recommend buying your actual US shoe size for best fit! The 7.5 is loose and even though I have wide feet, I have to wear multiple layers of socks to make it fit
