Reading Glasses 3 Pairs Fashion Spring Hinge Readers Glasses for Reading Men and Women

Long story short, I need reading glasses. This is my first purchase of reading glasses. For the cost, I assumed they would be basically throw away frames. After unboxing, I was shocked at the quality... These are really nice frames. If they were a tad bigger, they could be regular prescription glasses! The arms have that ability to over extend but then snap back into place. The only con is what I already mentioned which is they are a bit on the small side... But for readers, I don't think that will be a problem. So far, I am really happy with this purchase... I am not happy that I need them but... thus is forty something. Definitely recommend.

I am BLOWN AWAY!!!(1) The quality of these is AMAZING--100% beyond every pair of supermarket readers I've ever owned. They're heavier and more solid; the screws are metal; all of the pieces are smooth and straight; they open and close evenly and firmly--they feel like they will last forever. Or until I step or sit on them.(2) They're literally ONE FIFTEENTH THE PRICE of those supermarket readers! ONE FIFTEENTH!!! (The Foster Grants at my local Fred Meyer or Walgreens/RiteAid are now $35, although there are cheaper options at Walmart or Grocery Outlet. [They don't currently offer my prescription at Walmart or Grocery Outlet.] I got the $7-for-three version of these because that was the price for my prescription, although I see that some of the other prescriptions are a few dollars more.) Anyways, ONE FIFTEENTH!!(3) They are also CUTER than every pair of supermarket readers I've ever had! (If you're wondering if they're genuinely as cute as the picture--they are! They don't look like the gumball machine version of the picture.) Generally I try to pull off granny glasses--the only option--I lean into it; get the silliest brightest ones and tell myself that that's cool because it's unique. But THESE look like $300 glasses from the hipster optometrist. Wth? How is this even a thing?(4) I know that I already covered the "3 for $7" bit, but beyond that being an unbelievable price, it turns out that the convenience of getting three pairs of readers at once is INCREDIBLE. There's a pair for work and a pair for home! There's a pair for my bag and a pair for the bookshelf! There's an EXTRA pair beyond THAT so that the next time I sit on my glasses and order Amazon replacements, I don't have to be blurry and headachey and work-avoidant for three days!The only tiny thing is that they're a little bit less wide than my head--the arms of them (is that the word?) have to bend out a bit to fit. But that's me, not them--I have a big head and that happens with lots of glasses. And I don't think that it's noticeable with these--the style of them is kind of conducive to it. And furthermore, the glasses are bendy enough--in a good way--and shaped such that they are completely comfortable that way. No headaches. (I've been wearing them for about three hours.)So in summary: WHAT EVEN. I'm never going back. I will sing the gospel of the Amazon glasses from the heavens. Everyone I meet will hear the word.

update jan. 2019 - after a week noticed our mom had begun to put something under the bridge of the glasses? when asked she said she needed to put a bandaid across the nose bridge as it was very uncomfortable to wear otherwise. so while these looked good being so uncomfortable for her to wear is why i updated the review from five to three stars.it was time to get our mom some new readers. i usually purchase a pack of three or four pack and that works out to about a years worth of use give or take. the ones i had been getting her were no longer available so i ended up getting these. they arrived in a padded envelope with the box inside.the glasses look and feel well made for the cost. that said even if they were a few bucks more i would still consider them a good value. as for the glasses themselves they fit her well and look nice. the magnification 3.25 what she asked me to get is near perfect. as to fitment, i asked and was told, "they are just fine."

These are well made and seem quite sturdy. But they sure seem a lot bigger and bolder than on the people in the pictures. Kind of a Harry Potter feel. They're serving me well around the house but I'm not wearing them in public - not right for my face. Update: They're also a bit heavy. I've been wearing them a couple of weeks now and I'm really starting to feel them on my nose. On the upside - holding up very well.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these glasses and the fit was perfect. I have been using progressive readers for awhile, so I’m still adjusting to only a single magnification, but these are the most comfortable glasses I’ve ever had. They seem extremely well made and the look is perfect for me. For the price, I plan on ordering a lower magnification for more distant vision. If these come out as multi focus, I would be thrilled!

I have bought three sets of these glasses in two different magnifications. Not a day goes by without me getting compliments for these glasses. The blue/pink ones are everyone's favorites, but to. he other color combinations work well too. People cannot believe what I paid for them and I cannot be happier with their fit and optics. Possibly best for females, even with relatively narrow facial structure. Don't hesitate, they will make you look good and see well.

These are very cool -- I've gotten lots of complements. More important - they fit really well and do their reading glasses thing perfectly. I wear them for hours of reading and/or computer use without irritation. These are the best over the counter reading glasses I've ever bought, and I've been buying reading glasses for twenty years. No lie.

I cannot be without readers, unfortunately, but I like them to be both stylish and sturdy. I have a favorite pair, however, cannot remember where I purchased. These glasses are FANTASTIC. First off, the price is ridiculous, but they are very sturdy, stylish and effective. Size of lens was smaller than I expected based on pix on line, but they are PERFECT. Comfortable, colors are great and my husband says he loves the on me. Only thing I would suggest is that each one come with a case as I am now wondering how to store. May come back for another set as they are GREAT.

I was very impressed with the look of these glasses. I usually see frames like these on MUCH more expensive brands. Also, they are comfortable and fit well and do their job.
