Lodge Cast Iron Square 11" Griddle

First thing I want to say, if you don't know how to use or clean cast iron, do not get this pan! If you want to try cast iron, do some research. Cast iron needs special attention, they are not like your everyday cooking pan. I've read some reviews on this pan from people who obviously don't know how to use or clean cast iron. Like the review that states "it is not non-stick," no it's not, you use butter, oil, or grease to prevent sticking. These pans are absolutely wonderful and give food a great flavor!

This griddle pan is amazing! Yes, I did put a little oil on this pan and heated up on low heat several times to prepare. I've used this pan every single day since arrival. It's just as good as a non-stick pan plus easy cleaning. My promise is that your foods will taste better. Smash burgers are the BEST with little splatter, love searing meats before oven baking, eggs, bacon, toasted bread are so easy. Just heating up leftovers such as pizza or chicken is a breeze. Its all about the flavor and little mess.

Arrived on time and in perfect condition. Heat distribution is great. Pan is in good shape - no warping, and lays flat on the burner. Easy to clean. Just be sure to wipe a tiny amount of oil over the surfaces after washing. So far have not had to heat season this pan, as it came well pre-seasoned.

Sadly, Food sticks, and cleaning isn't easy, along with inconsistent heating. Returned, For those significant reasons.

Love it. No more nonstick aluminum. I use it practically every morning and there is no comparison.Take care of it according to directions and it will serve you well.
