The best body cream I’ve used, makes skin very soft and smooth

I really like Caudalie products and have many of their facial skincare products and some bathing ones but this was the first time I'd tried their body cream so I was interested to see if I would find it as good as the other products I use. I received this as part of the Vine program but I am completely free to be honest about the products I receive and I hope you will find my review useful.The large pot is foil sealed so you can be assured it is pristine on arrival. It contains a thick cream, with a texture similar to a cold cream for the face, and has a glossy appearance. It has the signature Caudalie scent but with an added softness. When applied to the skin it feels rich and luxurious yet doesn't feel heavy or greasy. It absorbs quite quickly leaving my skin feeling immediately nourished and enriched and, later, beautifully soft and smooth. It's too soon to say whether it will lift and firm my skin (I'm not sure any cream can do that to be honest) but it does make my skin feel pampered and in much better condition and it looks less dull.You don't need to use that much to cover your body and limbs so this pot should last quite a while, making it good value for money. I definitely recommend giving it a try. And remember, you can register the unique code each Caudalie product has (usually found inside the box but in this case it's under the top layer of the sticker on the lid) on their loyalty scheme to build points to exchange for full size products.

I’ve had Caudalie products in the past but this was the first time with this lift and firm cream. It arrived in a nice pot which was consistent with a premium product. It was foil sealed for reassurance. I’ve used it for three weeks.It absorbs well for a rich, thick cream, though I apply it in sections as it takes a little effort.It’s a little expensive for a body cream and it needs regular use but it seems to be helping the skin around my knees and neck in particular. If I use it in the morning it stops my skin from being dry all day. It has a nice fragrance to it that wouldn’t be out of place in a spa.

This cream feels nice and absorbs well, but the smell is hideously strong and unnatural - like the worst of the drug store. I’ve written to ask if the 4% “unnatural origin” component includes the fragrance, because let me tell ya - it ain’t it. Not a sophisticated smell in anyway and way too strong. Won’t ever buy again because of this.Also - it’s 2024 and Caudalie is not a small business - there’s no excuse for making your items “not eligible for return”. Buy with caution.Edit: have to 1 star it, rare I do this, but the artificial smell is so strong it literally burns my eyes. Never in my life has a body cream done this. Can’t use it.

It absorba very well on the skin and the scent is also good too. It is a good quality as you can tell by the thickness.. defo worth the value and would highly recommend it.

Caudalie is quickly becoming one of my favourite brands when it comes to decent product at sensible prices. This firming cream is yet another instance of how they're getting it absolutely spot-on.This is a wonderfully rich cream that is easy to apply, non-greasy, quickly absorbed and makes my skin feel like a million dollars. The scent is initially noticable, but quickly dimities to a pleasant background fragrance - which is similar to other Shea butter creams that I've used in the past.The cream is slightly on the thicker side, making it pleasant to apply, it is easily absorbed and once applied, it is non-greasy. My skin looks and feel radiant after application.There is a definite firming after application, though this may be something to do with the massaging of the cream - time will tell, but I have no reason to think that it wouldn't be beneficial over time.I'd say that this was now my go-to lifting / firming cream, I'm more than happy to share my secret, as long as you don't tell too many people, ok?

I'm not sure about this.... I tend to really rate everything I've ever tried from Caudalie, but this cream isn't blowing me away. I've certainly not noticed any skin firming benefits; I've really just had my skin feeling soft, but that's nothing different than other body creams/lotions.I was just hoping for a bit more from this brand, who I really love. And the smell isn't as beautiful as all other Caudalie products that I've tried; it's a bit too subtle and plain scented. But it does make my skin feel beautifully soft, and a little goes a long way.
