Update fixed now! Didn't work at first!
Did not work at first, was vary upset! Customer service sent a new throttle! Took 3 weeks due to Chinese new year! ( not there fault) Works better than I imagined! Was upset after paying $500 for a product that i needed for work that didn't work! Now it's up and going, and I mean going! It's fast! Cut my time to work from 30 minutes on my old 350watt ebike to 15 minutes on this one! It goes 25 miles an hour, I got myself a helmet do to the speed! Customer support is not the best, probably due to translation issues, and a way different time zone, but they did what was needed to fix my problems! Had a small dent in rim (could be from shipping)but other than that it is a great deal, can't beat the price and performance! I have to turn the power down! Yes it's adjustable! Can set speed to what ever speed works for you! I highly recommend at this price, and as to date it works vary vary well. Just know this thing is fast I've crashed at 15 mph and fractured a few things, 15 mph don't sound bad tell you hit the ground trust me it's not fun, just be careful maybe get a helmet for this thing, I did, i would rather look foolish with a helmet on then, crash this thing at top speed and really get hurt! It's fast but fun fast! Buy this thing it's worth it, for fun and work! Well worth the money! Especially with gas prices these days! Sorry for the first negative review, it didn't work at first and I was angry when I wrote the review! Small problem fixed now and vary happy!! Thank you!!

Installation troubles
Let me say that the kit arrived early and came securely packaged. What a value to have the crank puller tool, chain whip and cassette removal tool. Altogether that's easily a $40-50 value. I really want this installation to work! However, I'm still working to get the kit installed. And I'm very knowledgable and experienced in bike repair and maintenance. Issue #1: The height of the freehub on the motorized wheel is taller than the one which originally had the cassette on it. The cassette is a 7-speed Shimano hyperglide. The 11T and 13T chainrings and one spacer are not attached to the other five chainrings. This results in the #2 chainring (the 13T) from the cassette having a lot of movement even when the lockring is fully tightened. Before putting the cassette onto the freehub, I placed a large washer to act as a spacer. It seems to have solved the issue. Issue #2: The shifters on my bike ride piggy-back (attached to) the brake levers. I had to remove shifters from another bike I own and mount them directly on the handlebar, separate from the brake levers. The brake levers supplied in the kit cannot accommodate shifters attached to them. This is solved. Issue #3: I had to mount the PAS on the crank without the chainring because when mounted on the other side--behind the chainring--it did not allow for the chainring to rotate. There was too much friction. This is the LEFT side of the bike, as the instructions say to mount it on the left side. But in the video, the PAS is mounted inside the chainring. I don't think this will cause an issue. Mr. Dongfeng H. (Yose) - that is the picture you requested. A simple flip of the PAS was the solution because the pedal assist was engaging when I pedaled backwards. Issue #4: I had to mount the battery pack upside down. This is due to the bracket's placement for the downtube screws. This doesn't seem to cause any issues. So all in all we are very happy. The bike is performing well! A few DIY solutions were needed but thankfully they were expected for a DIY kit.

works great, everything included
I converted my old Trek with this kit. Installation was simple with one exception the stays had to be spread to accommodate the wider wheel hub. I fussed with it a couple of days until a biker friend told me to just get a piece of Allthread and 4 bolts to slowly spread the stays. Worked and kept the angles correct. Lots of fun to ride. My age isn't such a big factor any longer.

Baught it for $499.00.Everything assembled didn't work. Biggest piece of junk! Have to pay to fix.
I would give zero stars if I could. ZERO!

Like it but beware, may not be compatible with your bike.
This will not be compatible with every mountain bike as it wasn't with mine. I have the brakes integrated with the shifters so the brakes they sent are useless for me because I have no room for them. The pedal assist was a total failure, the magnetic disc gets crashed by the way the sprockets are designed, I had no choice but to leave it out, supplying a left side PAS instead of a crank side PAS would solve this problem. The battery did not fit with the screws placement I had so I had to improvise and it barely fit. The display is cheap but functional. The only thing I was impressed with is the power this thing puts out, very cool and fun to ride.

seller makes you pay for shipping returns
We ordered the E-Bike kit for an adult tricycle so we needed the front wheel E-bike kit to fit between the front wheel forks. It is a heavy box and is going to be very expensive to return the whole thing when all we needed was a front hub motor with wheel. Everything else was good.
