I really like this book because it's easy to follow and it has great visuals. The instructions are very good.The book "flaps" can be used as book marks and the book has a great glossary and index. My only regret is that I didn't realize that it had so many dried flowers. If I was in a book store and comparing it to the other flower books that I purchased, I would not have purchased it because it has so many dried flower arrangements.

it had alot of dried flowers in it and to me seemed outdated and not fresh ideas but for the used book price, its worth that it did have some tech. on tying , bouquets and the arrangements did say how many flowers used, had two pages on wiring stems, and showed a grid and the flower placement that was nice, how to make one bow that was awful! but it does have a few good pages in it.

Good quality for a used book. It has a wide variety of techniques and arrangements. Contains pictures of arrangements showing steps and finished products.I would recommend this book for those interested in fresh or dried floral arrangements for everyday use in homes for entertaining, or as a hobby.

Book was in good condition just an older book

As a beginner, I found this book hugely helpful. The detailed illustrations and step-by-step instructions are great.It also includes gorgeous, inspiring photographs and sections on the principles of flower arranging. Another section covers skills and materials--things like how to wire flowers or spiral stems.

This has some good basic flower knowledge but stylistically it's pretty dated. If you are looking for a good reference book then it's handy to have around, but I wouldn't spend much money on it.

This is beyond excellent for learning technique, or for getting some ideas. This book, at least for me, has been a bible of ideas, and I did my wedding bouquet and flowers based on some of the ideas in the book. This copy I am purchasing as I've worn the heck out of my previous copy!

This book is ok if you are a newbie.If you have attended any classes or have any other books then this book is a bit basic.Nothing is particualrly bold in terms of design.If you are looking for new ideas then this book isnt a good choice.If you need to know basics then this book is fine.I returned my copy.

I bought this book as I didn't really know where to start with flower arranging, the book is amazing. It has tips, how to store your flowers, types of flower arrangements, occasions, etc.. It's amazing, recommend this to anyone wanting to take up on flower arranging.

Not as inspirational as some books but full of sound instruction. I haven't felt like trying any of the arrangements, hence the four stars, but it gives plenty of advice and instruction if you're starting out.

A very interesting and useful handbook giving clear illustrations on the different styles and aspects of flower arranging for every occasion. I am inspired to try them all in due course!

This book was in very good condition, it was as new, really pleased with it.
