So glad I purchased the Karite brand Paraffin Wax Machine! I am using it for my hands, to relieve the discomfort from arthritis. The hot wax treatment is very soothing, and my hands feel pampered and moisturized afterward. I also wanted the option to treat my feet if I chose to, and this model has ample capacity and space to accomodate an average adult foot. Temperature adjustment is precise and consistent, making it easy to know when the wax would be most comfortable for me to dip into. The provided Lavender scented wax feels and smells lovely. I usually hate scented products, as most of them are disagreeably strong, but not this wax. This scent is light, fresh, and pleasant. Since I alone use this machine, I just thoroughly scrub my hands before dipping, then reuse the wax over and over. Accidental small drips of wax are easy to wipe off the outer case of the machine. I do not CLEAN OFF the protective floor grid after each use. Instead, I use a piece of metal coat hanger to snag it and lift it out of the melted wax. After letting excess wax drip off of it, I set it onto a piece of wax paper or even a paper towel. Then after the wax in the machine has cooled and hardened, I just lay the grate on top of the mass of wax, where it will sink to the bottom the next time I use the machine. Easy! I also love the hinged lid that opens and closes at the touch of a button. No loose lid to fall into the melted wax, as with other models. Customer service with this company is excellent---responsive, polite, and helpful. Great job, Karite! I recommend this Karite Paraffin Wax without reservation. I would choose it again in a heartbeat!

I purchased this for relief of pain in my hands. It sits in a corner of my kitchen counter, so I can use it every day. Due to its sleek, black, appearance it blends into the background and is hardly noticeable. The paraffin vault is big enough to be used for my feet. I might try that in the winter. So far I have used it only for my hands. The wax smells wonderful, lightly, like lavender, without being overpowering. With help of the timing feature I program it to be ready when I predict I will be ready to use it. Using it is very easy. I keep the necessary utensils in a drawer nearby for quick cleanup. My hands feel wonderful after each use. The pain is gone for most of the day, and the skin gets wonderful moist, better than any lotion I have used.

I like the machine but I'm not sure how to rate it because it takes all day for the wax to melt. I don't see how or where they're saying it only takes 20 minutes for it to melt. Therefore, I don't really know how to rate it except that it's a great machine otherwise. I've never had any other machines so I have no point of reference. But I do like the fact that it's large enough for feet as well. Now that it's winter time and I'm using it more often, I leave it plugged in all the time, which doesn't make me feel very comfortable for safety reasons.

One of my best purchases, the paraffin quality is excellent, it smells delicious. The machine works great, melts the wax quickly, and the lid opens by itself. I am happy with my purchase and recommend it 100%.

This Wax Machine works perfectly. It doesn’t need a lot of time to melt the wax and the extra mits for feet and hands are great to help keep the moisture in. I enjoy the size of the tub it is long enough to dip my elbow.

Easy to use. Large capacity allows you to put your whole hand in. I haven’t tried it for feet, but certainly large enough.

This is a great machine for arthritis pain and the paraffin wax makes your hands so soft. The customer service is exceptional. Elan helped me with my pre-purchase questions and after purchase questions. The machine works as described, heating 4 packs of wax in 30 minutes. I would recommend using at least 6 to 8 packs to get a nice level for dipping the hand or foot in. The user manual is detailed and the warmer is easy to operate!
