Super soft and comfy
I purchased many styles of Dickies and Cherokee scrubs from Amazon looking for ones that fit my body type. Unfortunately I ended up returning almost all of them (thank God for Amazon prime). I finally went into a brick and mortar store to try on the scrubs in person and went through probably 10 different styles before settling on these. I'm back on amazon now to purchase more, although I originally purchased from the store that let me spend hours trying on their scrubs...My body type: 5'6, 130-135#, broad shoulders, 36B, thin legs, little bit of a pizza belly. The fit: I went with a S in both the pants Barco One 5205 Cargo Track Pant Black M and the matching top. The pants are a *tad* too short, but not enough that it's worth giving up on them. I seem to be at the perfect height where the tall drags the ground but the regular is just a little shorter than I would like. I wear the pants just below my belly button. If you are familiar with the Grey's Anatomy yoga style pants, this waistband is not as wide. I find it provides just enough "grab" to stay up without feeling like a belt. The shirt I probably could have gone with an XS, but I didn't want it to pull on the shoulders. It completely overs my butt when my arms are by my side and even when squatting, there's no chance of a crack show. The pants help with this as they stay on my waist even without being tied. The feel: Heaven. These things are so soft; I imagine they feel like what Egyptian cotton sheets would feel like or whatever the fancy sheet is these days. Anyhow- super soft. I work in Florida and I do find them a little warm when driving to/from work or outside, but in the hospital environment they are fine. If you are VERY active at work or always hot, they might not be for you. They are 93% polyester and 7% spandex so they are not very breathable, but the fabric is so thin that I feel it compensates for this. The holes: I think this is important to mention because I'm not sure if you can tell from the pics. There are tiny holes for breath-ability that run along the front of the shoulders to about halfway down the armpit of the top, and from about mid thigh to the bottom of the pants in an ~1 in strip. Depending on your occupation, you may not want scrubs that have even tiny holes. I haven't found it to be in issue for me so far, but I do wear knee high socks so I am covered (with a gown) in contact precaution rooms. If you work in an area with a lot of splash and you're not typically gowned up- these may not be for you.I hope this helps in your decision making. For my body type, they are the best I have found so far. Also I want to mention- I have found the best prices and color variety for these on Amazon. I do like supporting local Ma and Pa shops but since I plan on buying LOTS of these- Amazon it is. (You can find this exact same review under the link for the pants)
