Samsung 1.5 Ton 5 Star Windfree Technology, Inverter Split AC (Copper, Convertible 5-in-1 Cooling Mode, Tri Care Filter, 2022 Model, AR18BY5AQWK, White)

The AC is nice. Less noisy and it cools fast. The remote cannot be used in dark that is one problem.

The media could not be loaded.  The product was delivered on time and was installed the same day by Samsung. The delivery and installation was perfect. Installation needs an additional power wire that the technician will need to buy and will charge nominally. So far all good. It's quiet and has good air throw. The Wind free mode is perfect to use while sleeping.

Bought the product from Croma but the AC outdoor unit motherboard got spoilt within 1 Month of purchase. Engineer said within 2-3 days the motherboard will be replaced and 7 days have passed by without any resolution. All gimmicks by Samsung and not a great product to buy. Do not purchase

Samsung installation support is worst. Their charges are very high and there is no clarity on the charges. They don't maintain any charge list and customer have to pay whatever visiting technician will demand. They are also not taking responsibility if gas leak or any fault done by their technician during the installation. They are good at looting customer's hard earn cash.

Awesome AC. Powerful quick cooling. WindFree mode is also useful. Even has tri care filter for bacteria etc. Also very quiet but powerful.

I purchased 1.5 Ton Samsung Windfree AC, 2024 Model..Let me begin with Cons..1. AC can be controlled in Wind free or Cooling mode during Running.. Where as when scheduling it for specific duration thru Samsung Smart things app, only available option is cooling mode, Set Temperature.. but no wind freeMultiple time period scheduling is available, where device Both Indoor unit & outdoor will switch off and on based on Routine that was scheduled.2. While AC Running, we can make it in convertible mode so it can run in 5 modes with compressor operating with a capacity of 120%, 100%, 80%, 60% & 40% thus optimising Power Utilisation, but feature available only during running but not in Scheduling AC in future runs..3. While installation, gets a representative and fixes AC, but charges for Bracket Fitting, Extra power cable from Point to AC.. I am surprised to say even PLUG TOP is not provided.. Representative will offer Multiple products for sale like A Protector for Copper Conductor, A chemical to fill the drilled hole to make sure animals / birds won't come near to unit & so on..Pros.1. Smart AC operates on Both Windfree and Regular A/C mode thus provides 2 ways as per need2. Easy connect to Smart Things app by Samsung which monitors Room Temperature & Humidity level while A/C is on operation & Severals stats and controls AC when you are far away from Home.3. Surprised to say even Display can be turned off with No beep sounds thru smart Things app.4. Noise levels are less when A/C operates in optimised mode say 40%, 60% & 80% when operates in 100% & 120% outdoor unit sound is little High but manageable.5. modes of Regular Cooling & Windfree operations are Good and User can pick right choice based on need only during Runnable phase..6. From date of Purchase, 3 services are free i.e., to clean the indoor & Outdoor units without any extra pay7. From Jan-2024 till Dec-2024, as per info received.. We get 1 Year standard warranty on PCB circuit board and 4 years Extended warranty.. 10 Years compressor standard warrantyNote: These are points updated with in 1 week of purchase..
