Looks just like the photo online--pure white without a bulb beneath
I am very happy--this lantern has the irregular (free-style/unique) ribbing I was hoping for. In my photos, the lantern looks ivory/cream--that's because the color-changing bulb we have beneath it is set to a warmer color. In reality, the lantern is pure white. It's nice that it adjusts to the color of the bulb beneath it--if we switch the bulb to red, the lantern will look more red. I like this because it allows you to be flexible--want cooler light? The lantern will mimic the cooler bulb you have. Need red or a warmer light? The lantern will adjust and appear to be that color. Couldn't be happier.
