They work fine for buffing up a shoe. I have one for brown shoes, one for black and a third for golf shoes. I've been happy with them so far.

My Shoes are Glowing!!!
I lost my shoeshine kit from my military service says of spit-shining those standard issue, black combat boots. I don't have a need to spit-shine anything nowadays, but definitely need to keep my dress shoes looking nice and presentable. This kit worked perfect for all my shoe shining needs.
