Carrara White Italian Carrera Marble Basketweave Mosaic Tile Gray Dots 1 x 2 Honed

Love this tile! Looks terrific in my bathroom installed with "platinum" tinted grout. My installer complained that some of the dots came off the mesh, making extra work for him. Know that the overall effect is more light gray than white--see accompanying photos. Both the "white" rectangles and the gray dots vary greatly in color. Some of the rectangles have pronounced veining, other do not but range from plain gray to white. The dots range from almost black to light blue to light gray. I found that this gave me a range of color choices for wall paint and textiles, so I am happy, but be sure this is what you're looking for. I bought directly from Oracle with a phone call because I wanted to query the price: it started at $8 per sq ft on Amazon and then went up to almost 10. Now it's 8... I guess that's due to the supply costs varying. Still, I was thrilled to pay no sales tax or shipping, which beat my local discount tile store. Service was good a delivery fast, and although I bought several more squares than needed because my installer warned me about defective tiles, there were none. Not worth returning the extras due to shipping charges (this tile is HEAVY), but I was able to find a buyer to take them off my hands on craigslist. Overall I am very pleased with the tile and with my experience buying from Oracle.

We really like our basket weave Carrara tile floor! After finding this pattern at a big tile distributor show room, we checked Amazon and found this tile from The Stone Center...at about a third the price! The Stone Center was great to work with; very friendly customer service and providing free samples to make sure we liked the colors. The tile arrived with free shipping, well packaged and in excellent condition. As other reviewers suggest, you should check all tiles first and mix them so as not to get light and dark patches, as the color do vary somewhat from box to box.And a couple hints: 1) The tile sheets come with the small dots along three of the edges, one side without. You'll need to cut-out the 6 dots along one of sides so you'll have two adjacent sides without dots, to get the sheets to fit together. (I found this out the hard way...) 2) Like others, I also found some of the small dots fall off when installing the tile. I discovered (late in the process...) that hot melt glue works great to replace them at the right place and are locked in well with the grout. 3) Tile flooring is very chilly...so glad we installed in-floor electric heat. We love it!

We bought this tile trying to replicate a bathroom redo we did years ago. It looked gorgeous!! New tile is being delivered today. Very excited to get It, but we made a little mistake. The original tile had white dots, this new tile has grey dots. We haven't installed it yet (of course) and hope it will look as nice as the "white dots" that we had before. Hoping the darker (grey) dots are not overpowering.

The tile is not sealed. It absorbs every amount of moisture and turns a darkish gray or brown. You can’t even scrub it without the water being absorbed. I’m having to retile floor with a block tile that is sealed on front and back of the tile. This tile costs way too much to be this poor of quality

I purchased this tile for the floor of my long, narrow bathroom. Tile arrived well packed and in good condition. Quality of tile is fine, but gray veins in the white tiles are not nearly as pronounced as in the photo, and color/finish varies wildly from sheet to sheet. As a result, there are large patches of the floor that are white and others that are gray. What's done is done, but if I could go back in time, I would have laid out all sheets to examine color and finish prior to installation, and would have exchanged the ones that didn't match up.I would advise others that are installing multiple sheets of this tile to carefully examine each sheet for color variation before installing.
