It's well made and needs no honing to fit a scope with no torque on the tube, it's heavy made of steel except for the caps but it's made to handle the brutal recoil of the biggest Magnums or the .50 BMG and for the price you can't beat it AND it's all American made, a BIG plus for me!!! I will suggest this mount to my friends.
