Revelation Verse by Verse (Osborne New Testament Commentaries)

This book is an excellent resource for studying Revelation. I found little to complain of and much to praise. Using this material, I was able to develop a teaching curriculum that blessed many people. They love the orderliness of this approach, and they thrived on its realism. Most of us can discern for ourselves that much of the "end times' hype is just that. This book is solid scholarship crafted in a faithful presentation. Thank you, Grant Osborne. I will be seeking out your other books for help when teaching the New Testament.

I ordered four Revelation commentaries, and this one, along with GK Beale’s shorter commentary, was quoted in all the others the most often. A great help in expositing the text. I also used the NICNT, CCE, TNTC, and Beale’s shorter commentaries.

I love this commentary, but it's physically fragile. In about one week it looked like I'd been reading it in the bathroom for about a year. Also, the odd texture of the outside of the book shows finger oil smudge all over it. If you get it always put if back on the shelf when you're done.
