Not as advertised!
I ordered these for use as mineral streak plates for geology. They are glazed clay bathroom tiles, NOT plain porcelain and so they are useless as streak plates! Do not buy these! They would be fine as bath tiles but definitely not as streak plates!!!

They're fine, but prone to shipping damage
These were delivered yesterday, just in time for my Physical Geology class's first mineral lab. Unfortunately, 3/10 were chipped and damaged, presumably in shipping. This was frustrating because I have 10 lab groups in each class, so we had to share and pass them back and forth a lot. I'm ordering a 2nd pack today because they're exactly what I need; it's just frustrating to have to buy two sets to ensure I actually end up with one complete set of intact plates.

These are not unglazed!
I was very disappointed that these plates were glazed, shiny and no streaks were able to be produced at all. I was able to use the back side of them which is brown, but not what was intended. It was difficult to remove the streaks but with some diligent erasing, they were able to be reused. I would have returned them but I needed them immediately.

Very Fragile Substrates...
I'm a rock painter and a member of the very prestigious rock painting group St Augustine Rocks, on Facebook. I experiment with different substrates to paint on. I ordered hand2mind White Streak Plates, 2 Inch x 2 Inch x 1/6 Inch (Pack of 10). When they arrived 4 substrates were broken and unusable. They were loosely wrapped together and put in a shipping envelope. Unsatisfactory and stupid. I would like to order more but 40% breakage is unacceptable.

Shipping prone to damage
The plates are great. I like that these are thinner than most. The problem is these is the shipping. They were double wrapped in bubble wrap, but the plates were in direct contact so they break against each other. It seems if they even had a sheet of paper between them they would survive more often.
