I use a burner torch to melt and form borosilicate glass which referred to as "hard glass" and has a higher melting point (approximately 2500 degrees Fahrenheit /1649 degrees Celsius) than "soft glass", because it retains heat longer than soft glass and because it is stronger than soft glass. Boro glass has superior durability, chemical and heat resistance and finds excellent use in chemical laboratory equipment . My teardrop glass earrings are created by layering colours of boro glass and twisting them together, allowing the molten glass to drip into the teardrop shape. ★Shipping policy★ We ship our glass products using Eco Post from an Israeli post office.
