Great camera
I was reluctant to buy one of these based on a couple of reviews. What I found was it was easy to set up when I followed the instructions. Ha. Once hooked up and connected to my Nexia it was perfect. Great wide angle view and very sharp with good colors. I'm far from tech savvy but I managed to do it. Biggest problem for me was connecting to WiFi but figured that out after a few attempts.Update 4/19:. Working so well bought another one for garage. With my Nexia set up when motion detected with other device a light comes on, siren blares and camera starts recording along with an alert to my phone. Great Sharpe video.Yes expensive, but great for monitoring.July 2019:. Purchased this camera again this time for garage. Could not place exactly where I wanted because it wouldn't connect. Moved to a different location not near wall and it connected easily.Have these connected to nexia bridge. Set up that if separate motion detector activates an alarm goes off, light comes on and camera starts recording and I'm notified by text and email. Great peace of mind now.Update 5/29/20Well one died. Would not stay connected anymore even with nexia help which it did work for a short time after they refreshed it. To keep all my devices together I ended up ordering another one anyway. Only lasted 2 years but it is a good camera.Update 6/4/20: second camera doing same, disconnecting and can't reconnect. Sent newly ordered one back and bought two other make cameras. I must say Nexia support was great and even followed up. Said they've been have problems with them lately and they've fixed it. Haven't tried them but will later.That's$350 gone if they're not fixed. Whole Nexia system has been great other than this.Another update June 5, 2020:. Well it appears they really have fixed the problems with the cameras. Both installed rapidly and are now staying connected. Nexia has been great.

My best guess is someone else had set it up on ...
My "new" camera would not register with Nexia as the MAC address had already been added to another account... I called Nexia technical support & they were able to clear out the registration so we could use it. My best guess is someone else had set it up on a Nexia account, tried it out & decided they did not want it, then returned it to Amazon! If that was the case, it was in perfect condition and works as it should so I can't fault Amazon for someone's weirdness. Nexia support helped resolve the issue quickly & efficiently.

Outstanding Camera
I got this indoor camera so I could monitor my family room while I was away. I already had a Nexia system through my new furnace/ air conditioner. They were set up so I could change temps. remotely. Then I learned I could add different components to Nexia. When I received the camera I found it easy to set up. I made one small mistake but one phone call to Nexia got me going in no time. Since then, my camera has worked perfectly. Not one hiccup. I live in suburban Chicago and while I was vacationing in Scottsdale AZ, no problem getting great pics even on top of Camelback Mountain.

Hard to Install Fails a lot. Poor quality
Bought about 3 years ago. Had to create a new account. Could not transfer these "Older models" Do not appear to work with 5G. Throw the money away! Tech support is very hard to work with. Wait times are forever and lord help you if you have a new Credit Card number. - they want to stick toothpicks under your fingernails and torture the information out of you. Skip buying these

Hate to love them!
Great cameras - just wish they’d last more that 1 1/2 to 2 years!!I currently own 6 of the “new” Nexia cameras and one by one the power adapters fail and then the cameras themselves start to loose connection on a regular basis before they fail completely!Nexia support always blames the WiFi connectivity or power surges, but after I buy a new replacement camera and set it in the same location, there’s never any issues (until the power adapters fail, etc...)

Not as advertised
Good luck getting this camera to work wirelessly. Apparently, you need a network with components approved by Schlage (Nexia), I suspect. My network uses a Ciso router/bridge/gateway, an HP managed switch (GIgabit), and all local switches are gigabit. Dropped my firewall to the least level of security and my wireless is MAC filtered. Nothing is out of the ordinary, yet the "Nexia" cams will not work wirelessly. Tech support cannot figure it out, so of course it's my problem, not theirs. Don't waste your money!!

Great quality camera, instructions need improvement
Great quality cameras but hard to install. I had to repeat the process 6 times for wireless. It’s time to update the instruction for the current cameras. Even the images are of the old one. Oh, your website needs to be optimized for mobile as well. Help section is lacking too.

Big upgrade from the older WC100 Cam
Very happy with this unit. This is the UNIT you want, the newer ones and their firmware, far too annoying. Installed with my BR100 bridge this week and the clarity is top notch. It is indoor outdoor but for outdoor highly suggest under an eve,.porch, etc. to protect from all elements.
