We switched to Valterra, and what a difference! This valve is easy to install, seals tight, and gives us peace of mind on every trip. Very easy install in seconds. Great patch for leaky valve.

So far this extra gate works great, easy to install, no drips, and doesn’t stick out too far. I would’ve given it a five except it is very very, very hard to get the cap off of it. It fits so tight, which is a good thing except I had to ask the park Ranger to help me at the dump station and I’ve never had to ask for help before.

Much better than the ones with the swivel ones that leak after a few uses.

I wish I’d bought them earlier. The black tank valve on the trailer leaks, so it was hazardous trying to connect the hose without getting black water on me or the ground. These attach & stay on the dump pipe so anything that leaks from the trailer tank valves is safely contained until I open this valve after the drain hose is attached. Added benefit I discovered is after dumping the black tank I close this outer valve, leave the black tank valve on the trailer open & open the gray tank on the trailer that uses the same outlet pipe. This allows some sink water to enter the black tank which helps rinse the floor of the black tank. Then I close the gray tank trailer valve, open this valve to dump black water again then open gray valve to empty gray tank & rinse the hose.
