From reading the description on Amazon I expected this pill to produce a week of "purging" and then a return to normal bowel functions. That was not my experience. "Happy Colon" did produce the advertised laxative effect for a week. And then it just keeps purging the digestive system day after day after day. It does NOT switch off and go into some sort of maintenance mode as expected. So fair warning. If you take Happy Colon stay very close to a bathroom...day and night. After 15 days on this pill I had to totally stop taking it to return to any sort of normalcy. It is a potent laxative. But that seems to be it.

I’m really glad that the ingredients are clear and shows that the capsules are made from bovine gelatin that’s from cows, instead of gelatin that’s from pigs. That’s a huge plus for me because I generally avoid pork ingredients. I also like that this colon cleanser is a natural way to help me to stay regular when I don’t get enough fiber into my diet.

This is a good supplement to improve digestion. No pain when taking. I did not find it to work like a super strong laxative either. It's more like an aid to generally more timely bowel movements. It includes a nice range of ingredients, including aloe vera gel. An okay price for only a 15 day supply, though it's not really meant for extended usage.

I am very happy with this happy colon supplement! It arrived quickly and well packaged. The capsules or standard size capsules and easy to swallow. There’s no discernible taste or odor. I haven’t had any negative side effects. But it does keep things moving and doesn’t cause any irritation to your stomach or bowels.
