Conversations on All the Light We Cannot See: By Anthony Doerr | Conversation Starters

I bought this as a gift for my partner who is a huge fan of the original book and 'disappointed' is a massive understatement of how I felt upon receiving it. 'Angry' is a lot nearer to the mark.There is a brief introduction to the author followed by the most pointless index I have ever encountered. The rest of this 'pamphlet' consists of a set of simple questions, which no-one would need to be prompted with, each taking a whole page. That is not to say that they are deep and inciteful, merely that the one or two sentences are the only things on each page, the vast majority being totally blank. For a similar amount of money just buy a copy of the novel for a friend.I have given this book 1 star simply because zero is not permitted.
