I saw this HIMI gouache being used by many YouTubers (They call it “Jelly gouache”) and wanted to try it, too. This is the first gouache I have ever used.This is a small set of 18 colours and there were also sets of 24, 36, and 56. There are two different sets of 18 colours from the same HIMI gouache, and I chose this one because it has three brushes and storage space for the same price. (The 24-colour set all have the brushes.)I was surprised when it arrived as it was so heavy and big. The colour is bright and yes, looked like jelly. Note that some of the jelly cup lids are difficult to open so be careful not to drop them. I didn’t completely take the lid off because worry about drying but I don’t Know that help or not.I can't give you too many details as I'm a beginner and using gouache for the first time, so this is just my opinion...It's a bit difficult to get the right density. Colours apply relatively evenly and can be corrected quite easily when you make a mistake. It is easy to blend the colours, but it dries quickly, so it is better to make the potion you need at the beginning if you want to make your own colour.I need more practice but I love it!
