Never made candles before but this was so easy to make. No bad smell. Very clean.

I purchased a Used: Like New kit. I was happy to find that everything was included and to save a buck or two on cost! There were no instructions included, but I did see them on the website and chose not to follow them exactly anyway.I made my first candle in a used clean candle jar. Worked like a charm, except next time I will be sure to clean the interior base better so the "wick sticker" will adhere.I didn't purchase any of the extras beyond the kit (no molds, pitchers, scents or anything as I wanted scent free, white candles in jars I already have).To make the candle, I just set the oven to 200/250 degrees, set the wick into the candle jar using the sticker and wick holder, poured the wax shavings into the candle jar, placed the jar in a water bath (a pyrex dish with water to keep the jar from breaking) and let the oven do the work. Probably took a bit longer to melt, but I didn't stir it or anything, just let it sit until completely melted. No cleaning of any additional parts. Easy peasy.As far as value, I'm not sure yet. It looked and sounded like a ton of wax shavings, but time will tell. Happy to be able to reuse some of my favorite canlde holders in the future!

I bought this for my husband for Christmas because he had been wanting to experiment with candle making, and it was a great purchase! Really good value and a fun at home date night activity!

The amount of wax plus the wicks and handlers are great for the price. They melt easily in the microwave or double boiler. Wax cools smooth like butter which looks amazing in any jar. Highly recommend for just starting or long time makers.

Honestly i got this as a way to make some christmas gifts. so far it works great. i’ve had no problem with it. I’ve seen people burn their wax when melting it in the microwave, but this stuff did perfectly fine. if you want to start candle making, i would start with this kit. Estimate, you could definitely make like 40 small candles with this, maybe like 80 tea lights

Bought this kit for beginning candle making. The wicks are easy to apply to the base. The wax melts easily and scents well. The candles burn well and the wicks stay lit. Will definitely purchase again.

I bought a candle making kit online that came with a bag of wax to melt. It made exactly one and a half candles...So I bought this box thinking the same thing would happen - I would have a decent size box and get only a few candles out of it. I was pleasantly surprised with how far the bag goes!There is no smell to the wax. It melts quickly enough. Pleased with this company.

Not as described fro 30lb.I received 100 white wick stickers, 2 metals centering and 102 wicks with 30lb soy wax.The wax is correct as described but the rest are not.
